How to make a beautiful bouquet of peonies with your own hands

In this article we will look at many ways to make a beautiful bouquet of peonies with your own hands for a wedding, for a birthday, as a gift: ideas, instructions, photos. The meaning of a peony flower in a bouquet: description. What do peonies go with in a bouquet? The most luxurious bouquets of peonies from florists: photos.

Peony is a spectacular flower with a sweet aroma. White, cream, pink, dark red, and yellow peonies are found in nature. Pink flowers are considered the most fragrant. Although peony blooms closer to summer, it is very much adored and appreciated by flower growers. Despite the fact that many consider the peony to be a demanding flower, it is quite hardy and grows very quickly, making the area incredibly beautiful.

Peony season: life hack from a Kazan florist on how to make a fashionable bouquet with your own hands

The editors attended the “Peony Madness” master class, which was conducted by I love home decorator and florist, Victoria Tatyanchikova.

VICTORIA TATYANCHIKOVA, FLORIST

– June is the season of delicate peonies. Their flowering is a great opportunity to please yourself and others with beautiful bouquets. In addition to beauty, peony has one more advantage - its aroma. According to the timing of flowering, plants are early (flowering begins before the fifth-tenth of June), medium (fifteenth-twentieth of June) and late (the period of appearance of buds begins from the twentieth-thirtieth of June).

I will show you how to make a natural and asymmetrical bouquet, reminiscent of a field bouquet. I decided to use pink flowers as the basis for the bouquet. The combination of pink and green in a bouquet will look very harmonious.

For the bouquet you will need: 3-4 peonies, 2 sprigs of mothiola (a fragrant small-flowered plant with a slightly elongated shape) of a yellow hue, 3-4 sprigs of limonium (it goes like a dried flower), 2-3 gerberas (diamond dark shade), 2 carnations. From greenery: 3-4 sprigs of eucalyptus of several varieties, 4-5 sprigs of pistachia. Pistachios are inexpensive greenery that is used for filling and placed inside the bouquet, with their help you can move the flowers apart, and eucalyptus should be located outside, as it is a more beautiful and luxurious plant. Also take string, pruning shears and ribbons for decoration.

You need to understand that in floristry details and overall style are important. Dried flowers and greenery will help create a complete color composition.

I will collect the bouquet using the spiral technique. Using this technique, all flowers are folded at an angle to each other. Bouquets collected in this way look very lush due to the advantageous position of the stems relative to each other. In this case, the flowers do not overlap each other, but, on the contrary, complement each other. You may not be able to arrange the flowers beautifully the first time. Technology comes with experience and needs to be developed.

1. First you need to clean the stems on each plant. To do this, everything that is below the string must be removed. Not a single petal should remain. Otherwise, the leaves will rot in the water and spoil the flowers.

3. After pistachia I take limonium. Its functionality is also to create distance between colors and add additional decor. We hold the bouquet tightly with one hand and substitute the flower. Do not cross flowers with each other. Each flower should be directed in the same direction as the previous one.

4. Periodically look at the bouquet from the bud side. The laws of composition, color combinations - everything works here. Arrange flowers at different levels: some higher, some lower. This will create several planes. You place all large flowers lower, small flowers higher. So, for example, place mothiola higher, pistachia – inward and lower.

5. Some flowers can be grouped with each other. For example, put two gerberas next to each other. One is higher, the other is lower.

6. Carnations can be placed deeper so that they serve as a background for more luxurious flowers (peonies, gerberas).

7. If you don’t like the way the flower looks, then by pinching the bouquet and without losing the shape of the spiral, you can rearrange it, also at an angle and in the same direction.

9. After you have collected the bouquet, you need to tie it tightly with twine. You should wrap the bouquet several times before tying the knot. The tie should be very tight. When doing this, try not to cut the stems.

10. Trim the ends with pruning shears. Focus on the shortest stem and cut the others to its length. It is advisable to trim the ends so that approximately 20 centimeters remain after the knot.

11. The final touch is to carefully tie satin ribbons around the bouquet. To do this, it is enough to take ribbons of 2-3 colors. There are no strict rules on how to tie them, it all depends on your imagination.

So, the bouquet is ready!

It can be a great addition to any interior!

How to arrange a bouquet of peonies with your own hands

In the summer, many brides prefer to replace the standard bouquet of roses with a combination of peonies, which are not inferior to the queen of flowers in beauty and luxury, while more interesting and delicate compositions can be made from them. This flower can highlight a girl’s dignity, give her romance and sensuality, while its cost will be significantly lower than that of a rose. If you don’t want to spend money on the services of a florist, you can make a bouquet of peonies with your own hands; you don’t need any special skills or tools for this, you just need to follow the step-by-step instructions, because even a beginner can handle the flower.

Just for fun

If your friend has a good sense of humor, and not a single meeting goes by without smiles and mischievous laughter, then this category of gifts is just for you. There is an opinion that every marriage is no different from another, so these gifts have a somewhat stereotypical mood. To prepare the bride for married life, give her a rolling pin with the appropriate inscription “medicine for her husband” or boxing gloves. Such a gift will immediately identify the owner of the house and will amuse the hero of the occasion.

What is a marriage without quarrels? That’s right, none, but sometimes it’s so difficult to shout to your spouse, which is why it’s worth giving a megaphone! A great gift that will solve all problems. You can also please your beloved friend with T-shirts or T-shirts with different inscriptions; you can make her a cup or baseball cap with a phrase that is symbolic for you.

The meaning of peonies

Peony has been known to people since ancient times; even in Ancient Greece it was revered and endowed with magical properties. It was believed that this flower was able to ward off evil spirits and protect its owner from misfortunes. Greece is considered the country of origin of peony; many beautiful legends and traditions are associated with this moment.

Today, this flower is distributed all over the world; many gardeners are happy to grow it in their gardens. The peony is especially revered in China, where it has always been considered the personification of pure energy, a symbol of love and beauty. Growing peonies was an honorable activity, patronized by the gods.

In Japan, noble people specially planted these noble flowers around their houses, as it was believed that they attracted suitors for girls, and helped the young ladies themselves to feel confident when meeting their future spouse. In the bride's bouquet, the peony symbolizes the promise of eternal love and a happy marriage. In addition, the meaning is divided by the color of the buds:

  • white symbolizes innocence, selflessness of thoughts and purity of thoughts;
  • pink - material wealth, well-being in the family;
  • red – passion and sensuality;
  • burgundy and purple - devotion and divine approval.

Combination options

A mono-bouquet of peonies of one or several shades will look beautiful and feminine, and it does not have to be decorated with decorative elements. In its natural form, such a composition will emphasize natural beauty and tenderness. To add variety, you can combine closed and open buds, which will personify youth and maturity of thoughts at the same time.

Another popular option is combining peonies with roses of adjacent or matching shades. You can combine all shades of red in the bride’s bouquet - pink, purple, scarlet, burgundy, etc. The composition can be decorated with sprigs of gypsophila or other small inflorescences of suitable shades, as well as decorative greenery.

In spring, brides can create a wedding bouquet of peonies and tulips - harbingers of warm days; the variety of shades of these flowers will allow you to create a unique combination. For example, a composition of white and pink peonies in combination with purple tulips or a wedding tandem of white closed peonies and purple tulips looks beautiful.

Daring brides can put together a floral arrangement of snow-white peonies and lilies of the valley, which bloom for only a few weeks a year in the spring. Branches with small bell-shaped inflorescences will perfectly complement large peony buds and add a combination of femininity and sophistication.

Types of men's shoes and the secrets of their selection

There are many types of shoes for men, but the following are popular at weddings:

  1. Oxford shoes. Recognized as an ideal option for a wedding. These are shoes that have “closed” lacing (the vamp is sewn on top of the ankle boots, which forms the letter V of the Latin alphabet). They appeared in Oxford at the end of the eighteenth - early nineteenth centuries, and gained popularity due to the love of Oxford students for them. The classic version of these shoes was made of smooth leather (suitable for weddings), but today they can also be seen in patent leather and suede. Leading companies in the production of such shoes are Santoni, Edward Green, Crockett and Jones, Wolverine, Barrett. They are worn exclusively under a tailcoat (lacquer oxfords), a tuxedo or a “protocol” classic suit (with stripes). Dark brown shoes go with a black, dark blue and dark brown suit.
  2. Derby boots are shoes with “open” lacing. Here, in comparison with Oxford shoes, the ankle boots (sides) are located on top of the vamp (front). Although they are somewhat similar to Oxfords, Derbys are rather their opposite. Most of them are produced by Doucals, Strellson, Marc O'Polo. They are considered universal shoes, and only shoes of this type in black are suitable for formal suits.
  3. Brogues are low shoes with perforations (stitches and different patterns), which decorates the surface in the form of a special “wing”. There are boots with both “closed” and “open” lacing. They can be combined with formal suits, as well as with wool or tweed suits, casual jackets, velvet pants, trousers. You should not wear them with very tapered trousers.
  4. Loafers, loafers - shoes that do not have laces. They are somewhat reminiscent of moccasins, but unlike them, loafers have a sole and a low, wide heel. Classic models are characterized by decorative leather tassels.

How to collect a bouquet

There is nothing complicated about creating a bridal bouquet from peonies yourself; you just need to follow the simple step-by-step instructions. First you need to purchase all the necessary flowers in the desired shades, and you need to order a few more buds than you need, in case of unforeseen situations. You also need to prepare the decorations that you want to include in your wedding bouquet - beads, rhinestones, decorative butterflies, ribbons, brooches, etc.

The easiest option is to create a bouquet on your own stems; this does not require additional materials; the tools you will need are scissors, pruning shears and floral wire. First you need to choose the largest and most beautiful bud, which will be located in the very middle of the composition, and arrange all the other flowers around it in turn. Branches with small inflorescences are included in the wedding bouquet only when the base is completely arranged. Then you need to cut the stems of all flowers at an acute angle to the same length and secure them tightly with floral wire, and tie a decorative ribbon on top. As finishing touches, you can optionally decorate the wedding bouquet with prepared decorative elements.

It is advisable to trim the flower leaves with scissors so that they do not interfere with assembling the bouquet and do not make it too bulky and awkward.

A more complex, but practical option is to create a bride’s wedding bouquet in a porta bouquet with an “oasis” - a special floral sponge that prevents flowers from withering for a long time. You need to purchase a porta bouquet maker in advance, then remove the sponge and put it in cold water while working with flowers. All stems need to be cut, leaving 5-6 cm from the buds, then set the “oasis” in place and drown the flowers in it one by one, starting from the base and ending with decorative greenery. The handle of the portaquet holder must be wrapped in a satin ribbon, securing it with tape. If desired, you can frame the bride’s wedding bouquet with a white “skirt” made of tulle or organza.

DIY composition for a luxurious celebration: wedding bouquet of peonies

A bride's bouquet of peonies looks stylish and is in no way inferior in beauty to traditional roses.
In various countries there are beliefs associated with these amazing flowers. In a number of countries, these flowers are used exclusively at weddings - they create a special atmosphere and are considered a talisman for a happy family life. Fluffy buds in Greece were considered a symbol of long life. The Japanese believe that a wedding bouquet of peonies is a sign of an imminent addition to the family. Among the ancient Romans they were especially revered - they could only belong to aristocrats.

According to ancient legend, the flower got its name in honor of the famous healer Peon. He nursed the wounded and achieved considerable success in this. Since ancient times, a plant with lush buds has been endowed with magical properties - it was believed that the peony protects the space of the house from evil spirits. In Chinese treatises, the flower symbolizes wealth and prosperity.

Symbol of the coming summer

The full beauty of peonies can only be taken advantage of in the summer months. They love warmth and therefore are quite capricious. Peonies grow from spring to autumn, while in April an unexpected frost can spoil the beauty of the buds, and in August the petals lose their freshness and fall off. In central Russia, the flowering period occurs at the end of spring and beginning of summer.

Attention! The cost out of season is significantly higher, since these flowers are imported from abroad. Remember this if you plan to add peony accents to the interior decor, outfits of the groom and guests of the special event.

About the importance of the process and personal participation

Many girls, entrusting the work to a florist, forget about the bouquet until the wedding itself. And we hasten to point out that this is very false. After all, it is you who will have to spend the whole day with him, enjoy his energy and set the whole tone of the wedding.

A poorly composed bouquet can fall apart, look unattractive at the end of the evening due to incompatible colors, be too heavy and spoil your mood with the wrong message. It's no secret that each flower signifies a certain feeling, wish, suggestion. Fortunately, women's bouquets have much greater freedom in composition than men's, but, be that as it may, it is important to remember the rules of color compatibility and, of course, fashion.

How to create it yourself

If the bride wants to show her imagination and create a floral arrangement with her own hands, peonies are a good choice. Even an inexperienced florist will be able to put together an attractive wedding bouquet of peonies with his own hands, which will last all day and will not wither.

If the bride’s wedding bouquet is made of peonies and roses, then the ends of the latter are cut off and processed by immersing them in boiling water for a moment. This prevents the stem from rotting. Lush greenery emphasizes the beauty of peonies - you can use various ivy, geranium leaves, and shepherd's purse. Also among the partners of peonies are butcher's broom and iris.

They decorate the bride's wedding bouquet of peonies with beautiful paper. One of the options is transparent round packaging with a pattern. If it so happens that both the bride is wearing a white satin dress and the wedding bouquet is made of white peonies, then it is very advisable to highlight the flowers, for example, wrap them in corrugated paper. It would be good if the newlywed decorates the floral arrangement with traditional ribbons with “curls.”

Composition ideas in rich colors

Roses and gerberas

This combination is quite original - elegant classic roses are perfectly set off by cheerful, modest gerberas. Such an ensemble combines aristocracy and lightness, optimism and seriousness of intentions.

Full monochrome possible. In this case, the contrast of textures becomes an interesting accent. It is acceptable to add a variety of decor, for example, contrasting beads on the petals or cores.

If desired, the shades can be spread across the spectrum: saturated burgundy roses can be diluted with scarlet gerberas.

Idea! The gradient from the dark center or top to the light edges or bottom is extremely interesting.

For a more delicate composition, it is better to use miniature buds of spray roses. Another exquisite solution is a single cup-shaped flower of the David Austin variety, surrounded by cheerful gerberas.

Most often, the combination of roses and gerberas is assembled in a classic round shape, but interesting cascades are also possible. A good product from these two plants is a pomander - an absolutely round sphere without any stem, secured to the wrist with a satin or lace ribbon.

It is important to remember that roses, unlike the more democratic gerberas, are rather capricious flowers and evict all other plants from the vase. Therefore, after the celebration, the bouquet will have to be divided

Another option is to use artificial flowers or place the stems in special floral capsules. In the latter case, a dense decor of the leg is necessary so that the special devices are not visible from any angle.

Tulips

Traditional companions of spring, hardy and elegant tulips, look wonderful both as a retinue for larger buds and in a mono-bouquet. A huge palette of shades allows you to choose a version of red to suit your taste, ranging from almost orange to rich burgundy petals.

Tulips that are barely blooming look very tender and tender - they are perfect for very young brides, even with fairly fair hair and skin, because green in this composition will in any case be dominant.

The long powerful stems of tulips allow you to create a variety of compositions:

  • Free-form bouquets, the so-called ruffles, also look great;
  • and round;
  • and spherical;
  • and cascade options.

Tulip petals are quite hardy even for such an exotic composition as glamelia - a flower artificially sewn from many individual buds. It can be given any shape you like, decorated with pearls, rhinestones or a large decorative figurine in the center.

Not every florist can handle glamelia, so be sure to look at the portfolio of the chosen master in advance - does he really know how to work with such a delicate material?

Callas, roses and orchids

An extremely elegant combination consists of regal roses, exotic orchids and majestic calla lilies. The easiest solution is a cascade in which calla lilies crown the composition. A large amount of greenery will emphasize the freshness of such an ensemble and make it lighter and airier.

Idea! The round shape with stems completely hidden behind satin and tulle looks no less elegant.

The trio looks very elegant in the shade of marsala, as well as ruby and burgundy. The dark part of the red spectrum allows you to reveal the shapes of the buds as deeply as possible.

Orchids come in a wide variety of two-tone varieties, with a contrasting center or petal edge, and this can be used to add interesting accents to a bright monochrome or to break up the sensuality with pink or white delicacy.

Advice from florists

Peonies are available in mono bouquets and mixed arrangements.
They are unpretentious and create many successful combinations. The best partners are small greenery, inflorescences of a contrasting color with small buds.

Paired with roses, you get amazingly beautiful bouquets, the only drawback of which is their fragility.

In a mono bouquet you can combine flowers of different sizes and shades. Peonies with double petals are very attractive. One option is to play with contrast, combining bright tulips and light-colored peonies. It is especially relevant for a spring wedding. Wildflowers together with peonies create a light, carefree wedding arrangement.

Attention! An interesting alternative is a bouquet of peony roses. These flowers look very beautiful.

Florists are not limited to standard solutions when composing compositions. The main condition is the harmony of the color scheme and a successful form of the bouquet, in which the peonies are not “interrupted” by other elements. To create a floral accessory, daisies, delicate lilies of the valley, formal roses and aristocratic orchids are used. Their choice is determined by the wishes of the newlywed and the style of the wedding celebration.

When choosing this or that idea for a floral arrangement, test the aroma that it spreads around itself. It is important that the bride does not feel discomfort during the wedding ceremony, since the bouquet will accompany her until the end of the event.

High wedge heel: beauty and comfort

We always start from the everlasting classics. The first advantage of this model is its versatility and practicality, since it is suitable not only for celebrating a wedding, but also for the daily bustle. The second advantage is maximum comfort: it does not strain the foot at all.

Usually there is decor in the form of crystals, rivets or lace. And the best color option is white.

Models with heels higher than nine centimeters focus attention on the bride’s ankles, showing her true aristocracy. No other way, because she is the queen of today's ball

Pink, white or yellow

In addition to traditional white or, peonies are available in pastel shades:

Bouquets in these “colors” are airy and create a feeling of weightlessness. They fit most styles and colors in a bride's outfit. It is advisable that the dress is not too fluffy.

A lush wedding bouquet of yellow peonies will complement the autumn theme and would look appropriate at a lemon wedding. The ideal composition is one that is not lost against the general background, but is not overly intrusive. A bouquet of red peonies in the hands of the bride will attract attention and emphasize an unusual image. A bold option can be repeated in the bridesmaids’ outfits and the groom’s boutonniere. Weave flowers into your hair and add bracelets with them to maintain the style and add bright colors.

A wedding bouquet of burgundy peonies is a symbol of luxury and sophistication. Fans of classic ceremonies will love the option of a mono-bouquet of peonies of this shade. But it is important to remember that if the wedding composition includes bright colors, they should be in harmony with the images of the bride and groom.

General recommendations

When composing a bouquet for a bride who chooses a classic wedding dress, white peonies are often used. To keep them from blending in with the main background, add bright red accents or include pink buds in the bouquet. Do not use white bouquets if the bride is wearing a cream or champagne dress. An outfit in ivory, ivory, with a silver or golden tint allows the use of mono-bouquets of white peonies.

In order not to disturb the harmony in the images of the newlyweds, peonies are also included in the composition of the groom's boutonniere. It is difficult to keep track of the safety of the accessory, so prepare a backup option in advance if the previous one becomes unusable.

If you purchase a ready-made bouquet, you should order it 2-3 days before the special event. Choose buds that have opened a little, but have not completely blossomed. Otherwise, they may not “survive” to the end of the event.

If the bride wants to appear before the guests with a bouquet of tight, dense buds, you should know that this shape is maintained for 5-7 hours at a temperature of +20-25 degrees. By evening, the shape of the bouquet may change. When choosing a variety, consider the air temperature indoors or outdoors and the duration of the wedding event. An interesting option is a contrasting combination of closed and open buds in a bouquet.

Important! In order for the bouquet to remain in its original form, it needs coolness. Blooming in the warmth, it creates a new mood and enlivens the image, making it more casual.

Wedding floristry professionals recommend “hardening” the bouquet daily by placing it in cold water - this way it can last longer. The day before the wedding, it is better not to place flowers in a warm place, leaving the bouquet in the refrigerator. Humidity is detrimental to a bouquet of peonies.

Form options

A bouquet of peonies often resembles a ball - the flowers are tightly connected to each other, forming a hemisphere.
It suits any style and build of the newlywed, being a universal accessory. “Classic” - a wedding bouquet of red peonies with white flowers arranged in a circle is the most popular. In this case, the buds are held on long stems and remain intact. This ensures the safety of the bouquet.

Florists also use a porta bouquet maker. This option is good for slender, short girls in fluffy dresses.

An elongated bouquet of peonies is formed using a frame. Pairs with a straight-cut wedding dress. Suitable for tall young ladies. Also, newlyweds with a tall and slender figure can appear before guests with a bouquet of unusual flowing flowers on long stems.

Photo for memory

Agree with the sauna management and arrange a wall or corner for a photo backdrop in advance. What will it be like? It's up to you to decide, but this is a great idea for a bachelorette party - a joint photo shoot. This could be a self-made arch in a nautical style, decorated with twine and anchors. Or maybe you can decorate the wall with photos of you and yourself. All the pictures will remind the bride of a great time and the most wonderful friends.

You can give the hero of the occasion an interesting frame where she will place the best photos from the bachelorette party. This is a cute gift that will definitely make her happy. A bachelorette party is a starting point for a girl into a new life, let only bright memories and emotions remain in her memory. A holiday in the sauna relaxes and relieves all worries and anxieties, and this is exactly what the bride needs before the most important day of her life.

With roses or lilacs

Peonies are often spectacular on their own and do not require numerous decorative elements of the bouquet. At the same time, a flower arrangement for the bride can be made up of buds of different shades, harmoniously combined with each other. For example, a wedding bouquet of peonies and lilacs looks very modern.

Often, florists combine blooming and just showing flowers in a mono-bouquet. If the wedding bouquet is made of pink or white peonies, then the following shapes are ideal - hemispherical, spherical or classic semicircular.

The composition is decorated with a satin ribbon, strings of beads, and an unusual brooch. In addition to decorative greenery, suitable flowers are selected for peonies - poppies, roses, orchids, freesias.

Artificial flowers

A wedding bouquet made from artificial peonies is much cheaper than a real one. It withstands heat and cold, preserves its appearance and leaves a long lasting memory of the wedding event. As a memorable gift, the bride can pass it on as an inheritance in the future.

A variety of materials will allow you to create a textile, but indistinguishable from the real, bridal bouquet of peonies; the photo below demonstrates what shades and shapes it can have. You can also purchase ready-made items if you are limited in time. Don't skimp on parts - they must be of good quality.

You will also need: scissors, glue gun, floral tape, cardboard paper towel insert, satin ribbon, cabochon. In some cases, paper tape may be required.

  1. We take the artificial bouquet apart, cutting off the flowers. We leave the legs.
  2. We inspect the flowers for external defects. If available, we remove it.
  3. We collect in a spiral around the central flower. Avoid gaps.
  4. We combine the flowers by wrapping the legs with a special ribbon.

To create the desired thickness at the base of the bouquet, use cut stems. Wrap the glued parts with tape, insert into a pre-prepared towel roll, decorate it to your liking (satin, bows, beads, stones and brooches - there are many materials on sale to create a unique accessory).

pajama party

The scenario for such a bachelorette party is as simple as possible and open to suggestions. The basic set includes light snacks, sweet and tasty cocktails, cute pajamas and slippers, and plenty of pillows.

So, first of all, you need to create a guest list, you can send them funny invitations in the form of sleep bands. Warn that there will be a mandatory dress code, do not forget to indicate in the invitations that you need to bring a good mood with you.

When guests are invited, you need to take care of the menu. It is better if these are light snacks: fruits, cupcakes or pastries, you can make canapés. For drinks, stock up on champagne, delicious wine or martinis, or you can even organize a competition for the best cocktail. This will also be part of the fun.

The girls are ready, the menu is ready, the room is decorated with balloons, pillows and pom-poms, then everything is ready for fun. Divide the evening into conventional segments: you can hold competitions, games (twister and the like), you can hold a seance and tell fortunes, for example, about your future family life and the sex of the child. Or you can arrange a real SPA holiday for yourself: useful masks and balms, aromatic lamps and pleasant music.

Tip: If you are worried that your guests will be bored, hold a home master class on making, say, sushi or pizza. And upon completion, you can watch a funny comedy while eating the delicious results.

Do you like to sing? Wonderful! Devote part of the evening to karaoke, it will be even more fun at home, no one will be embarrassed or embarrassed, who knows, maybe there is talent and a new pop star hiding among you?

The perfect end to a pajama party would be a photo shoot. It is not necessary to invite a professional photographer to your home; you can find a camera from your friends, and then it’s up to your imagination. An excellent gift for the bride would be a beautiful album, where she will then store pictures from this evening.

Summary

By choosing peonies as the main element of the bouquet, you can pleasantly surprise your evening guests.
In wedding photographs it immediately attracts attention. The shape of the bud, variety of colors, pleasant aroma and romantic image make them so popular in wedding style.

Regardless of what compositions brides choose, laconic monochromatic mono-bouquets, or, on the contrary, bright colors and shapes - beautiful wedding bouquets of peonies become one of the most noticeable elements of the image.

Making a delicate bridal bouquet from artificial peonies

Recently, more and more brides, choosing between a bridal bouquet of fresh flowers and decorative ones, give preference to the latter. Which is not surprising, because such a bouquet often costs much less, tolerates heat and cold well, does not fade, will remind you of this happy day for many years, and can even be passed on by inheritance! And there are a lot of types of such bouquets - from satin flowers, polymer clay, brooches, butterflies, beads and, of course, artificial flowers. Today I want to show you how to easily and quickly make a delicate and elegant bridal bouquet from textile peonies.

For work we will need the following materials:

– good quality artificial flowers (inexpensive artificial flowers will greatly reduce the cost of the appearance of your bouquet, so the quality of flowers is the last thing you should save on);

– scissors and nippers;

– cardboard tube for paper towels;

– satin ribbon 5 cm wide (about 3 meters);

– a beautiful cabochon (mine is in the form of a cameo);

– paper tape may also come in handy.

So, first of all, we cut off the flowers that we like from the bouquet, as close to the stem of the bouquet as possible. We don’t throw away the legs, we will need them later.

We carefully inspect our flowers for glue threads and other minor defects. If found, we will eliminate it!

Now we begin to assemble the bouquet using the spiral technique. That is, we select the central flower and begin to fold the rest of the flowers in a spiral. Try to keep the bouquet dense enough, without large gaps.

Master class on creating peonies from candies and corrugated paper from Natalia Nikitenko

We cut the corrugation into strips: 6 strips of 4 cm, 6-9 strips of 8 cm.

Place the strips in a stack. We cut each stack of strips into 6 parts. Cut out the petals from the resulting rectangles.

Gently stretch the petals. Give them a curved edge shape.

Attach the candy to the toothpick. Let's start gluing the petals. First we glue the narrow petals: first we glue three petals end to end and then three more petals on top. It should look like this.

Then we begin to glue the wide petals. Apply glue, assemble the lower part and glue it in the same way as small petals - three pieces in a row. We do this for 2-3 rows. This is the resulting flower.
