Despite the fact that many begin to live together even before marriage, the issue of dowry remains relevant to this day. After all, from your wedding day you want to renew your life and bring something useful into your home. A dowry is a set of valuable things that can be useful in the household of a young family.

The tradition of collecting a dowry appeared a long time ago, when the role of a woman was only to keep the family hearth, raise children and provide coziness and comfort to her family.

Then it was customary to collect a dowry as soon as a daughter was born into the family, because one day she would leave her father’s house for her husband’s house. And since the woman did not work, she had to contribute to her family at least once in the form of a dowry.
