In the post-war period, there was a sensational youth subculture in the USSR; in 1949, with the light hand of one of the journalists of the satirical magazine “Crocodile”, representatives of this subculture began to be called dudes. Thanks to the film, everyone knows about these young people, so an invitation in the style of “Hipsters” will be received with a bang by most guests.
Brightly dressed young people with unimaginable hairstyles, succumbing to the “pernicious influence of the West”, lovers of noisy parties, ignoring the norms of Soviet morality, made a lot of noise: they were exposed and branded with shame, expelled from the Komsomol and expelled from large cities...

How to make
You can order an invitation in the Hipsters style from a printing house or a wedding agency, or you can make it yourself. There's nothing complicated about it.
You will need:
- brightly colored cardboard;
- checkered or striped scrapbooking paper (its color should match the color of the cardboard);
- for decoration: Pravda newspaper, record, trade union member card, image of dudes. You can use all of the above or just some of the details;
- artificial flowers and sequins;
- the text of the wedding invitation in the style of "Hipsters", printed on a sheet of paper, as well as several printed headings;
- some office supplies: glue, scissors, double-sided tape.
