Which orchid to choose for a bouquet

A more than original solution for a wedding in country or rustic style. It would seem that there is nothing more distant from each other than aristocratic Cymbidiums and... sunflowers. However, this “union” cannot be called disharmonious.
In addition to the “main characters,” the composition will need:
- peony and small bush roses of a yellow hue;
- succulent haworthia striped;
- craspedia;
- tape, floral wire, stemmed flasks;
- decorative twine.
Succulents that do not have long stems of their own are placed on a wire, secured with tape.
Cymbidiums are considered quite hardy, but it is better to separate them from the peduncle by inserting them into a flask with water and feed for cut plants. After this, you can begin assembling the bouquet arrangement. We start with sunflowers and roses. The technique, as always, is spiral, allowing you to create maximum volume.
We gradually complement the arrangement with other plants: haworthia and dried flowers. We raise cymbidiums a little above the general level, thus emphasizing their main role.
We fasten the finished composition with tape, or even better, with anchor tape, which is not afraid of water. Trim off unnecessary stems. As a rule, florists take the arrangement in their hand to make it comfortable to hold and remove all flower stems 1 cm below the edge of the palm. We wrap the remaining stems with twine. If the wire holder for succulents is visible, it is removed a little higher.
The sunny bouquet is ready. There is no need to be afraid of its shade - yellow flowers have long symbolized not separation, but a strong, successful marriage and a happy future together.
"Butterflies on Roses"
A wedding bouquet of peonies and white Phalaenopsis orchids looks delicate and airy. Here we used 2 varieties of “butterfly flower” – Schiller with small buds and a large single Singolo.
An amazing detail - the florists decided to add pink lilies to the arrangement and, despite the prohibitions, it turned out very beautiful.
The basis of the composition is also made up of peonies and roses.
But there is a little trick: phalaenopsis are added to the almost assembled bouquet composition, towering above it. Now they are clearly visible against the background of other components.
To make the leg of the wedding accessory look neater, it is wrapped with tape almost the entire length. And then they hide the technical fastening under the linen braid.

Breath of the sea
A bouquet of blue or purple orchids is often used for a nautical-themed wedding. Exotic flowers go well with traditional accessories for this trend. For example, sea shells and stars.

Snow-white cascade
In addition to round bouquet arrangements, orchids are very often used in cascades. It is difficult for novice florists to cope with such a flower “waterfall”, but if a special frame comes to the rescue, the task is immediately simplified.
A similar device finished with stabilized moss looks impressive. The arrangement includes:
- white Phalaenopsis, eustoma, callas and spray roses;
- echeveria succulent;
- eucalyptus and viburnum.
Echveria is removed from the ground with its roots (after the arrangement is dismantled, the flower is planted back). Tape tape is carefully tied to a wooden skewer. One by one, insert the flowers into the frame, fix the stems, trim them and decorate them with a lace cuff.
