Alina and Azat's preparation diary: nikah and festive dinner

Nikah is a traditional religious ceremony among Muslims. Before the day for reading the nikah arrives, the groom's parents must ask for the hand of a young girl and agree on the date of the nikah. The party that agrees on the time of nikah should know that nikah is not read during the holy fast of Uraza and during namaz. Usually the mullah himself says what time he can come if the nikah is read at home. Traditionally, the organization of nikah (negotiations with the mullah, invitation of guests, preparation of the festive feast) is carried out by the bride's parents.

Nowadays, it is very convenient to read nikah in the mosque. First, the mullah conducts the nikah reading ceremony itself, which takes 30-40 minutes. After it, the newlyweds and their guests go to the banquet hall, where the guests are treated to a festive dinner, and the newlyweds receive congratulations from their relatives. Reading nikah in a mosque attracts with its interior, closeness to the spiritual and Almighty Allah.

I've been working in a restaurant for five years. I really like it,” says the girl, cutting the potatoes into cubes.

Alina and Azat's preparation diary: nikah and festive dinner

Hooray, new issue of the “Preparation Diary”! No wonder the editors of Marry Me, Rustem! and, we hope, our readers. Today's post is dedicated to the nikah ritual. Alina and Azat approached this day in a very unconventional way. They not only respected traditions, but also introduced elements of a modern holiday into it. Alina's story with interest .

“We held our Nikah on August 31, 2014 . I really liked the rustic theme, and we decided to bring it to life. True, it turned out more like a fabulous rustic chic. The nikah budget was approximately 250 thousand rubles .

We started preparing for nikah a month in advance. At first we chose the mosque on Tukaev Street because of its proximity to the house, but our soul demanded larger-scale beauty and we moved the ceremony to Lyalya-Tulpan .

We wanted a very small celebration for 10 people, but in the end we decided to invite both friends and close relatives. It turned out to be 26 people . Although I know that for a traditional nikah this is not even enough
