Competition for the redemption of CHAMOMILE
The host or bridesmaid stands in the way of the groom with a chamomile in his hands. On each petal of this chamomile, memorable numbers for the young are written in advance. This could be: - the date the bride and groom met; - the hour of their first date; - year of birth of the future mother-in-law, father-in-law; — bride’s waist size; - future wife's shoe size; - number of best friends of the bride; - bride's birthday; - height of the bride; — the height of the stiletto heels of her party shoes; - the number of expected children in the family; — bride’s ring size; — bride’s weight in grams; - favorite song of the future mother-in-law; — the bride’s favorite number; - the number of guests invited to the wedding; - age of the witness and witness; - the amount of money that the future wife would like to have every day for small expenses. That is, tasks can be very diverse and unexpected. The groom must, by tearing off a petal, guess what this or that memorable number means. For each incorrectly guessed task, the groom pays a ransom. The competition ends only when all the petals are torn off from the chamomile.
Scenario
To make the test interesting and funny, the girlfriends need to prepare an accompanying text. It can be written in poetry or prose, depending on your imagination. You shouldn’t use too many words either - after all, the ransom should go quickly enough and without boredom.
A variant of the finished text: “And now, dear groom, we will find out if you love your bride enough to ask for her hand in marriage. Let's remember what our Mashenka (the bride's name) shared with you, and what you yourself learned about her. We have a chamomile for you, an unusual one, but with tricky questions. If you answer one, the petal is yours, but if you make a mistake, put the money in the treasury. Until all the petals fall from the daisy, we won’t let you go further.”
Interesting! For the wedding itself, you also need to choose options for interesting competitions - ordinary for everyone or only for young people.
Bride ransom competition BOGATYRSKAYA POWER
The origins of this bride price test go back a long way. Previously, the groom's path to his betrothed's house was blocked by a log placed on special trestles, which he had to cut down. Now the “heroic power” of a young man can be experienced in various ways.
For example: - ask him to hammer a nail with one blow; - lift dumbbells or weights several times; - do push-ups from the floor; - pick up a witness; - break a thin thread or rope; - jump on one leg; - squat several times on one leg; - tell what kind of sports he was involved in; - ask for a promise to carry your wife in your arms for the rest of your life; - pick up your mother-in-law.
During this test, jokes pour in: “Look, the groom took a hammer in his hands for the first time,” “Oh, it’s hard for him, it’s hard,” “Well done to the groom!”, Wow, what a strong man, he hammered a nail with one blow!” , “He will be a good husband!” If the groom refuses to complete any task or simply cannot cope with it, his friends help him. And if they refuse or fail to complete the task, then a ransom is charged. the ransom amount is set by the bride's guests.
Suggested Questions
A daisy competition at a wedding can consist of a wide variety of questions. They can be like this:
- Name the date you met your future wife.
- What date was your first date?
- When did you first kiss?
- How many children does the young woman want to have?
- What was the name of her first teacher?
- Under what zodiac sign was your mother-in-law born?
- What size is the bride's engagement ring?
- How much does your beloved weigh in grams?
- What color do you like best?
- Say the words that you said at the moment of your marriage proposal.
- What is the age of the future spouse in days?
- What color are your father-in-law's eyes?
- Where does the future spouse want to live?
- What is the young man's hobby?
- What is the betrothed's waist size in millimeters?
- What kind of cars does the bride like?
- On which shoulder does the chosen one have a mole?
- What animal does your lover compare you to?
- What does she like better: cake or ice cream?
- Which writer's work does she like?
This is not a complete list of questions. They should not be too difficult or too easy. It’s better to write questions that test your composure and intelligence. It’s like asking a question about a mole: if a young woman doesn’t have one at all, then I wonder whether the future spouse will immediately give the answer or will it take a long time and painfully to remember?
Photo of a chamomile with questions from the bride to the groom
When preparing the test, it is better to discuss everything with the bride herself: she will tell you which questions the future spouse can answer immediately, and which ones will make him confused. The main thing is that everyone present has fun, interesting and funny.
Bride price SPONGE competition
To conduct this competition, take a large sheet of paper on which all the bridesmaids and the bride herself leave imprints of their lips. The groom must find the desired imprint of lips - the lips of his bride. The competition ends when he correctly guesses his bride's lips.
You can complicate this test somewhat, for example, force not only girls, but also men to put on lipstick and kiss a piece of paper. In this case, an incorrectly guessed fingerprint will not only serve as a reason to demand money from the groom, but will also amuse people - the groom chose not his betrothed as his bride, but a neighbor or grandfather.
If all the men refused to wear lipstick, then you can try to persuade the women to put on lipstick of the same color, so that the groom, looking at their faces, will not guess who has which lip prints. There is no point in making his fate easier, let him suffer.
Wedding competition STEP ON ME
An obstacle appears in front of the groom - a staircase. On each of its steps (if the house is multi-story, you can do it one, two, three steps) place a pre-cut paper trail. For greater difficulty it can be very small. The groom, climbing the stairs, must step exactly on the footprint. If this does not work out, the groom and his friends pay a ransom.
The task can be complicated. For example, having stepped on each footprint, the groom must somehow affectionately call his betrothed, which again is not so easy. The test ends when the ladder is completely climbed.
RUSHING, RINGING, SPLATING
On the way of the groom, the host or bridesmaid stands in front of the door with an empty glass in his hands. When the groom, having overcome all obstacles, approaches, he is approached with the following task:
Put something that rustles into this glass
When he fulfills this desire and puts as much money into the glass as suits the guests, the host says the following task:
Now put what rings in this glass.
When the groom completes this task, he is given the following:
Put whatever is spilling out into this glass.
The groom must fill it with wine. If the groom does not fulfill any wish, then the previous one is offered to him again. For example, the presenter says:
Put what is spilling out into this glass
The groom answers:
I do not have it
And the presenter says:
Then put what rustles into the glass again
Props
The main prop of the competition is a paper structure in the shape of a flower – a daisy. You can easily make a chamomile with your own hands, using thick paper (cardboard) as a base, as well as paints, colored pencils, felt-tip pens, and markers to decorate the flower. Using scissors, you need to cut out a circle from cardboard - this will be the core of the chamomile, and ovals - for the petals. We paint each petal with a bright color and write the memorable date in large numbers. We assemble the flower, fastening the structure with paper clips or a stapler. Choose the size and color of chamomile as desired.
Competition CATCH A FISH
The bride, two or three bridesmaids and the grandmother are locked in a room. When the groom approaches a locked room, he sees several strings (their number depends on the number of people in the room) peeking out from under the closed door of the room. The other end of these strings is tied to the fingers of the people in the room. When the groom pulls a thread, the one to which the given thread was tied approaches him. The host of the competition says: “Take her as your wife or pay tribute.” The competition continues until the groom guesses his bride or makes a new decision: to marry the bridesmaid
FEW! FEW!
Having overcome previous obstacles, the groom finally approaches his cherished goal - he sees his bride, but she is sitting at a wide table, to which the guests and girlfriends of his betrothed do not allow him. Children should be seated on each side of the bride. After the presenter says:
To approach your betrothed, you must overcome the last obstacle, i.e. put money on each corner of the table and in its middle,
– children should knock loudly on the table with their hands or rolling pins, sweeping money already placed under the table and repeating
Few!!! Few!!! Put more!!!
With questions from participants
The presenter announces the competition and explains that he will need an assistant.
After this, he recruits 15–20 participants and divides them into teams of 5–6 people. The group chooses a captain and also comes up with a name and motto. There is only one condition - you need to show your imagination so that the people in the hall have fun. The assistant writes down the name on special sheets with squares, and then distributes them to the newlyweds and witnesses. After this, he hands the captain of each group petals, multiples of the number of teams, and asks them to come up with a task.
It is important to explain that the challenges can be anything, the main thing is that everyone has fun.
Examples of tasks:
- come up with an advertisement for a product (without a name);
- create a parody of a famous person or mutual friend;
- dance an exotic dance;
- Sing a song;
- demonstrate a scene from a fairy tale or proverb in silent film style;
- create a scene based on a given plot.
There are a lot of options for tasks, it all depends only on the imagination of the contestants.
After all the commands have been completed, the assistant collects the leaves and goes behind the screen. There, an assistant randomly attaches them to the receptacle.
Next, the presenter says that there is an ancient way of fortune telling on a flower - and now groups will do the same. Only the leaders will not find out their fate, but will complete a certain task. They give 3-5 minutes to organize each act and ask them to show everyone present what they have come up with.
The jury, represented by the newlyweds and witnesses, gives marks for the scenes. To be fair, each performance must be assessed according to several criteria - how artistically everything is presented, whether pantomimes or parodies are understandable, how much you liked the plot.
When all the tasks are completed, the assistant collects sheets with grades in order to summarize them.
The team with the highest score wins. She is awarded the main prizes, but it is important not to forget to give gifts to other contestants for participation.
It should be remembered that the souvenirs should not be very different, so as not to upset the losers. A small difference is enough to reward the winners.
This version of the competition is a little childish, but it compares favorably with the usual question-and-answer game, which everyone is already tired of. Thanks to its unusualness and uniqueness, such a competition will help cheer up bored guests.
And many in their souls miss their carefree youth, when they did not have to restrain themselves and pretend to be a serious person.
Redemption competition FIND A SHOE
When the groom overcomes all obstacles and finally finds the bride, it turns out that she does not have a shoe. He is asked to find her. Several boxes of shoes are placed somewhere in a secluded place. The groom must guess the one that contains the bride's shoe. For each incorrectly guessed box of shoes, the groom pays a ransom. The test ends when the groom finds his betrothed's shoe and elegantly puts it on his beloved's foot.
Dear brides and bridesmaids! There is a great way to replace the bride's cash ransom with the groom's promises. It will be much more interesting and fun, in addition, the bride has a great chance to pamper herself with little whims after the wedding!
