The most beautiful registry offices in Russia: top 12 places for official registration

Marriages take place in heaven... But they are registered on earth, and this part of the wedding is the most important and solemn. They realized this in the very first months of Soviet power, and in December 1917 in Soviet Russia, one of the first laws of the Bolsheviks was the decree “On civil marriage, on children and on maintaining books of deeds.” Much has changed since then, but one thing remains unchanged - the family is the unit of society, and registry offices, due to the solemnity of the event, have become real wedding palaces. It is these beautiful registry offices in Moscow that will be discussed in this article.

Babushkinsky

The history of one of the most beautiful registry offices in the Russian capital began its history back in 1921, and since 1969 it began to register all significant events in the lives of citizens.

Everything here is created for the comfort of future newlyweds and their guests. The waiting room has cozy sofas and a fireplace, creating a truly homely, warm atmosphere. But in the registration hall itself, everything is done in light, airy colors, completely corresponding to the solemnity of the moment. Judging by the reviews, many who used his services were satisfied.

Bogorodsky

A beautiful government institution is located on the ground floor of a residential building, and after recent renovations, it has acquired a modern, noble appearance. For the convenience of visitors, there are two entrances, the main one for special events, and a separate entrance to the archive.

The interiors of the halls and spacious halls of the registry office are made in pastel colors, and in the registration hall itself three colors are harmoniously combined - beige, coffee and gold. The entrance to the formal hall is from a cozy living room, and separate rooms are provided for the bride and groom.

Gagarinsky

The beautiful Moscow registry office first received newlyweds in 1960, and until 1992 it was called “Oktyabrsky”. Next to the building are the alleys of a small park, where a wedding photo shoot will become convenient after registration.

The waiting room has a homely feel, mirrors, paintings on the walls, a lot of greenery. The hall for special events dazzles with an abundance of chandeliers and pleasant wall decor. Pink curtains look great against a white background of walls and light shades of light wood.

Like many similar institutions, Gagarisky holds a memorable celebration of marital anniversaries, and you can also order a solemn registration of the birth of a child.

Wedding Palace No. 5

This palace in Izmailovo especially stands out among its competitors due to its unique architecture and style. It is made in the traditions of Russian wooden and white stone architecture, and has a wide variety of halls for ceremonial registration.

Also nearby is the tallest wooden church in Moscow - the Church of St. Nicholas, where you can hold a wedding ceremony.

Savelovsky Civil Registry Office

The design and decoration of the Wedding Palace on Butyrskaya Street creates a feeling of comfort and incredible spaciousness. The only registry office in Moscow that has the authority to register foreigners. So, if your chosen one or chosen one has arrived from abroad, there is no other alternative in Moscow.

You can order photo and video shooting on site, and also provide the service of releasing a couple of snow-white doves into the sky.

Almaty

The first wedding palace in Kazakhstan was built by architects Alexander Leppik and Malbagar Mendikulov on the banks of the Esentai River. A year before, a circus was built on the opposite side, and in 1982, the Kazakh State Academic Drama Theater named after Mukhtar Auezov was built. Until the 2000s, until high-rise development of the area began, one could see a single ensemble of these buildings.

The painting was destroyed before the collapse of the USSR. In 1979, the Wedding Palace received the status of an architectural monument.

How to apply for a non-standard marriage registration

At the same time, the list of non-standard places for painting can constantly change, supplemented by more and more unusual locations. And yes, we can say that this is a capital program that everyone can access.

At the same time, we are not talking about some fabulous money - you just need to submit the appropriate application on the State Services website, paying a state fee of 350 rubles. The main condition is the deadline for submitting the application, which must be left on the website earlier than a year in advance and no later than a month in advance of such marriage.

Top 7 most unusual places with beautiful views

So, we’ve sorted out the filing of the application, and all that remains is to choose that very non-standard place for painting, which has a much better chance of being remembered than some standard registry office, even with the most magnificent decoration.

Don’t want to be like everyone else when it comes to registration? And it’s not necessary, because every year new sites appear in Moscow, making this formal procedure non-standard in the best sense of the word. The main thing is to submit your application on time, choosing the best option for yourself, for which you will have to use the State Services website

According to statistics, the following non-standard locations made it into the top 7 possible options:

  1. Moskvarium, located on Prospekt Mira (ideal for a themed wedding).
  2. Ostankino Tower (Pervaya Ostankino St., 5).
  3. The Tretyakov estate (yes, that same one), located in the building of the Bogolyubov library on the street. Sushchevskaya).
  4. Central hippodrome on Begovaya, 22.
  5. Moscow Planetarium (star or intergalactic wedding? Why not), located on Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya, 5.
  6. The Arts Center of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, located on the ground floor of the building on Volkhonka (no. 15).
  7. Luzhniki Stadium, which can be found on Luzhnetskaya Embankment (l 24).

Moreover, today you can register a wedding in a mansion on Volkhonka and even in the Church of the Matrona of Moscow.

And let’s not even talk about themed restaurants, and among the best passwords and appearances is “Turandot,” which miraculously recreates the atmosphere of the romantic old Verona in the middle of a never-sleeping metropolis.

In addition, starting this year, establishments such as Gusyatnikoff and Savoy have opened their doors for off-site ceremonies for newlyweds, so there are really a lot of options for arranging a “sparkly” registration.

Civil Registry Office Yuzhnoye Butovo

Attention! Weddings in a solemn atmosphere take place at the address: Moscow, Shcherbinka, st. Pushkinskaya, 3.

Perhaps the youngest department of the Moscow Civil Registry Office, founded in 2012, but has already become quite popular among residents of the area.

A distinctive feature of the institution is that painting is carried out in a separate building, and the archive and all other services work at a different address.

After updating the interior, the wedding building acquired freshness. The halls are furnished with upholstered furniture, and pleasant lighting flows from the ceiling and walls. It is noteworthy that there is nothing superfluous in the hall itself, but a friendly, warm atmosphere reigns.

Tushinsky

A clear advantage of this department is that it has ample parking near the building. There is no antique stylization or pretentiousness here, but the registry office is original with a combination of modernity and amazing architectural elements.

While waiting for the ceremony, guests can sit on cozy sofas. The rooms and corridor are spacious, and one of the halls is separated from the main part by a vaulted arch reminiscent of wedding rings.

In addition to spotlights, in the painting room there is a luxurious large chandelier, and the ceiling is decorated with a stucco pattern.

Izmailovo Kremlin

Undoubtedly, the Palace of Happiness on the territory of the Izmailovo Kremlin is the most beautiful registry office in the Russian capital. It is one of the youngest in Moscow, as it was opened in 2009, but is designed in the luxurious style of the Catherine era.

Large halls and high ceilings, decorated with magnificent paintings, and the windows have the original lancet shape inherent in the architecture of the 17th century. Antique-style furniture adds a special splendor, but the sofas are modern and covered in leather.

The institution offers, after painting, to go up to the spacious balcony and release doves into the sky.

Outside registration

Let’s conclude our short review with such a fairly popular service in recent decades as on-site registration.

Its main advantage is that you choose the place and time yourself. This option suggests that this important event in life will forever be associated for the newlyweds with a certain place. And the design is your own imagination.

Often, on-site signing of documents takes place directly in a cafe or restaurant, where the festive part of the gala event will take place.

Sochi

One of the most beautiful places in Russia for a wedding is Krasnaya Polyana, where the celebration can be held both in summer and winter.

Newlyweds who dream of an original wedding often choose Sochi. You can celebrate the celebration here in Krasnaya Polyana, surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains. The Vyborg Wedding Palace opened its doors in 1983. Architect Boris Ustinov designed the registry office building in the spirit of Finnish modernism, which, according to the precepts of Alvar Aalto, meant conciseness, convenience and interaction with nature. In Ustinov's project there are no grotesque romantic and temple motifs, massive forms or thematic decor. At the same time, the building has an intricate, multi-part composition. The multi-level buildings are united by a glass transition.

The internal structure of the registry office includes many green corners. The building is well preserved, however, it did not escape the fate of being tiled. The Vyborg registry office is on the list of twenty objects of Soviet architecture that the Union of Architects wants to preserve.
