The central registry office is located near the Ploshchad Vosstaniya and Chernyshevsky metro stations. The landmark for it is the “Military University”, which is known to almost all residents of the city. In order to get to the government office you need to spend 25 minutes from these stations, or you can travel several stops by public transport.
The registry office of the Central District has its own parking area, but it is virtually impossible to leave your cars there. It is better to look for a place for the vehicle near the curb on Suvorov Avenue.

The civil registry office is located in the very heart of the city at 41 Suvorovsky Avenue, opposite the Military University of Communications. Everyone who has chosen it for a solemn marriage has the opportunity after the ceremony to take photographs in numerous historical places in St. Petersburg, which are within walking distance from the place of registration.
This department does not have its own parking; you can park parallel to the sidewalk, like in any other central part of St. Petersburg. Therefore, if you are planning a wedding procession with many cars, you need to think in advance where you can leave them during registration.
The metro stations “Chernyshevskaya” and “Ploshchad Vosstaniya” are the closest to Suvorovsky Prospekt. From “Chernyshevskaya” you can walk within half an hour, from “Pl. Vosstaniya" can be quickly reached by bus No. 181 or trolleybuses No. 5 and No. 7.

Immediately behind the large entrance door, young people and guests open to the main staircase, which leads to the second floor. To the right of the front door there is an office where registration applications are accepted, and on the left side there is a dressing room.
On the second floor there are compactly located small apartments for the bride and groom, a ceremony hall and a spacious waiting room with a decorative fireplace for guests. These rooms are cozy and compact, but designed for a small number of people.
The registry office of the Central region has a beautiful ceremonial hall, which is made in light beige colors. Candelabra, a wide variety of lamps, and all kinds of patterned moldings serve as decorative decorations. All these elements give the ceremony hall a special solemn atmosphere. A large crystal chandelier hangs in the center of the room. Although the hall for special events is small and this chandelier is somewhat large for it, thanks to the play of light and the delicate shades of the walls it looks harmonious there.
In order for the wedding ceremony to go well, do not invite many guests, since the hall is not designed for this.
