How to get there
The journey to the registry office from St. Petersburg takes about an hour. You need to drive along the ring road and cross the Gulf of Finland along a protective dam. Despite this, many newlyweds come here to get married.

The administrator may be strict in some ways, but everything is within the limits. I would like to thank the host of the celebration for her sincerity, which is not often seen. We were very pleased with the atmosphere of the registry office and its employees.
I always believed that highly educated and cultured people work as administrators in the registry office, but today this myth was debunked by a boorish woman gendarme, who very authoritarianly and rudely supervised the guests who came to the wedding ceremony, minimizing the time they spent in this institution. 01/21/2017 The marriage of our daughter and her future husband was registered at the registry office of Kronstadt. The ceremony was surprisingly short. And while the young couple and parents were being photographed, a registry office worker entered the hall and allowed herself a completely wild trick, accusing the guests and their children of ruining the hanging of the chandelier, which no one had approached, as evidenced by many photographs. Moreover, she offered to search the children’s pockets. Confused relatives rushed to the children. At this time, the upset young people stood in the center of the hall. If a registry office employee does not know the rules of decency, he has no place in the registry office! It was possible to approach the parents and resolve the situation. As a result, the registry office employee left and her colleagues called her. The mood of the newlyweds is ruined on such a happy day! The wedding is ruined at first! Who will answer? Biryukova Lyubov and Biryukov Igor, parents of young people whose registration in Kronstadt was spoiled.
We were at a friends wedding. The room is really beautiful and unusual. although not that big. The whole impression was ruined by the rush and strict boorish aunts. At first we weren’t allowed to put up a tripod to shoot video. Okay, the cameraman filmed it handheld. Before the newlyweds had time to leave the registration hall, the guests wanted to take pictures with them in the hall, but these women literally kicked us out and hurried us. You know, I also encountered this, unfortunately. Arriving directly at the registry office, we found a wedding there. They were really hurried and urged to leave. At the same time, the worker’s bags were already standing at the exit even during the ceremony itself (i.e., she pushed everyone out and then disappeared home). We are from the city of Pushkin, our regular registry office was closed, only the palace remained... Registration there is only possible after 4 months..
