Layout and interior
After reconstruction, 3 ceremonial halls were equipped in the premises of the Novosibirsk Civil Registry Office on Krasny Prospekt. Among them:
- “Classic” is the most spacious, oval, beige and white in color;
- “Provence” is a rectangular room painted in white and blue tones;
- “Modern” is a new square hall, decorated predominantly in blue.
In all halls, guests present at registration can either stand or sit. The main highlight of the Novosibirsk Civil Registry Office in the Central District is the wide round staircase, where all the newlyweds usually take a group photo before the ceremony. There are all conditions for guests with disabilities: the building has an elevator and a special toilet for the disabled.
Story
There is a bit of mystery in the history of the registry office building, since the exact date of construction is unknown. The surviving information indicates that it was built in the pre-war years. The building had a rich history and many residents.
During the war, a military medical commission was located here. After 1945, it served as the home of Andrei Eremenko, commander of the West Siberian Military District, Marshal of the Soviet Union. Later, he began working as a kindergarten.
Since 1964, the building was converted into a registry office. During its existence, more than half a million marriages were registered here. In the mid-1980s, the building was reconstructed. And in 2017, the Palace was opened after a complete reconstruction.
Application Rules
Filing an application is also an exciting and serious event. You need to decide on the date, time, type of ceremony and number of guests to select the hall. There are two options for submitting an application:
Online is a new feature that simplifies the application process, eliminates queues and the need to personally visit the registry office. For online registration there is an e-mail: [email protected] or the website of the Department of Civil Registry Offices of the Novosibirsk region. If you choose this option, you need to indicate the couple’s personal information, date, time, hall and pay a fee. Then send an application to the website of the selected institution.
Personally. In the old fashioned way, come stand in line and write an application manually. Passports must be available. If the bride or groom was previously married, it is necessary to present a certificate of its dissolution.
Now there is only one thing left - to arrive on the appointed day for the ceremonial or non-solemn registration of the newlyweds’ relationship. One of the main points is not to forget your passport!
Interior features
After a recent renovation, it completely changed its appearance. All that remains of the Soviet-era building are barely discernible general outlines. Now, this is a modern and stylish building with unusual architecture: a lot of glass and a columned gallery surrounding the entrance, which adds airiness and conviviality.
The main “highlight” of the interior of the registry office, very favorite among newlyweds, is the spiral staircase. This element of architecture puts you in a solemn mood. The bride and groom with each step, overcoming the distance, bring the moment closer to the reunion of souls and hearts. It was left after the reconstruction of the building. Since it was very popular for photo shoots and adds a special charm to the institution.
The Registry Office has three halls for ceremonial weddings. Each of them is decorated in its own style and even has its own special shape. Designers worked on the design, choosing the style and color schemes:
"Classic" . A classic always remains a classic. This room is round in shape with snow-white walls and a light coffee-colored floor with a floral pattern. There are chairs for guests along the walls. The room looks bright and festive. Decorated with floral arrangements. The high window is decorated with colored stained glass.
“Provence” - has the shape of a rectangle, somewhat elongated and shaped like a hemisphere on one side. Decorated in cool pale blue tones. Volumetric floor-length curtains, flower arrangements and trees in flowerpots. Chairs are provided for guests. The decoration of the hall creates a solemn and austere atmosphere.
“Modern” is a rectangular hall. Also, designed in blue tones. Stylish patterns on the walls and blue and white curtains create a feeling of solemnity and festivity. Near the registration table there are openwork panels. Chairs for guests are located against the wall.
The young family is escorted from the hall, along a special staircase, to the exit to the street. Carved railings and light panels will also allow you to take a couple of interesting photos.
After registration, you can take a few photos with the guests on the territory of the registry office. There are beautiful paths lined with colored tiles and evergreen trees: thuja and fir.
