Moscow has incredibly beautiful and photogenic places for wedding photography, and in this article you will see it. We have selected seven completely different venues to suit every taste, where you can take the best shots, as well as hold the celebration itself.
Sparrow Hills
Vorobyovy Gory is one of the most beautiful and picturesque places in the capital, offering a stunning panorama of the city. According to ancient legends, Vorobyovy Gory is one of the “Seven Hills” on which Moscow stands. The vast territory of the park allows you to take beautiful and unusual photographs.
Pros: Beautiful panoramic view of the city, plenty of scenery, large park.
Cons: Difficult to find a parking space and difficult to get to by public transport, crowded.
Metro: Vorobyovy Gory/University
Address: Moscow, intersection of st. Kosygin and Universitetsky proezd

Hotel Korston
I recently managed to photograph a wedding there, and the impressions were quite pleasant. The hotel is located on the banks of the Moscow River, in the Vorobyovy Gory area, a 10-minute drive from the historical center of the city, which, however, is fraught with traffic jams. When pre-ordering a wedding banquet or buffet for guests, photography is free. The hotel launched the “Brides' Ball” project, within which every Saturday from 12.00 to 17.00 and sometimes on Fridays the doors are opened for wedding photographers. Several specially designed rooms are available for filming:
- Bar with panoramic views on the 20th floor
- The hotel lobby, with the adjoining European restaurant Bonjour Café and its main attraction - a snow-white Bluthner grand piano. The piano plays on its own, we laughed a lot with the newlyweds.
- Restaurant Galileo, stylized as a Greek galley
- Banquet hall Place de Paris, designed in the form of a French square under the “open sky”, with tables, ladders, lanterns and a stage illuminated by lights. In my experience, it’s quite difficult to shoot there - the French square is in twilight, despite the completely daytime painted sky, and it’s dark there.
Also, according to the information from the hotel’s website, “business” and “comfort” category rooms are available for photography – 1000 rubles, filming time is no more than 4 hours. This offer is valid only upon presentation of a marriage certificate.

VDNKh (VVC)
All-Russian Exhibition Center is the largest exhibition center in Moscow. It is quite difficult to get around everything in one day, so think about the route and means of transportation in advance (it is possible to rent small electric cars). It is especially beautiful at the All-Russian Exhibition Center in the summer and spring - the time of flower beds and exhibitions. You should definitely visit distant corners, such as the Michurinsky Garden and the cascade of ponds. In addition, at the entrance to VDNKh, on the left and right there are two amusement parks, the pearl of which remains Moscow’s largest Ferris wheel (“Ferris Wheel”).
Pros: Large territory, abundance of architectural monuments and installations, beautiful landscapes.
Cons: Problems with parking, crowded, seasonal (fountains don’t work in cold weather), in summer there are a lot of cyclists/roller skaters.
Metro: VDNH

What to wear for a photo shoot
In order for the photo shoot to leave only pleasant impressions, you need to think through your wardrobe in advance. Here are some tips on what to wear for a rooftop shoot:
- paired costumes of any superheroes, for example, Batman;
- matching pajamas;
- the wedding suits themselves;
- You also need to bring warm clothes with you to use between shots;
- Girls should wear shoes with heels and replace them with low-soled shoes.
You can stay in your festive attire.
Photo session on the roof with skyscrapers in the background
If the newlyweds want to shoot in a themed restaurant, then they need to choose suitable costumes. For a restaurant stylized as the Middle Ages, chic dresses and tailcoats are suitable, and for an establishment in the style of “minimalism” - laconic outfits without much decor. It is advisable to have luxurious carpets on the floor. A piano is welcome in the hall.
Do weather forecasters promise rain on your wedding day? Don’t be upset, in another article we told you how to organize the perfect wedding photo shoot in rainy weather.
If you are not afraid of animals, why not organize a photo shoot with horses. It says here where it is best to carry it out, what is needed for this, etc.
If registration is planned for the golden season, here are some ideas for a wedding photo shoot in the fall. The questions covered here are: where to hold it, what props to use, how to pose.
Are you planning to sign in March-May? Read this article about how to get beautiful spring photos. You'll learn where you can make them, what props you'll need, and how to pose.
Well, if the ceremony takes place in the cold season, all that remains is to prepare according to all the rules for the winter photo shoot of the newlyweds. What poses are best to choose, where to shoot, in what style? We answered these questions earlier.
Luzhkov Bridge and Reconciliation Bench
Recently built, Luzhkov Bridge has become one of the favorite places for lovers and newlyweds. Located between Bolotnaya Square and the Tretyakov Gallery. All along the bridge and the adjacent embankment there are iron trees hung with locks. The lovers hang locks with their names on the branches, make wishes, and throw the keys into the water. It is believed that this ritual will bring happiness and prosperity to the new family. At the end of the bridge there is the well-known “Bench of Reconciliation”. Its peculiarity is that it is impossible to sit on it on opposite sides, only side by side and only hugging. Wonderful place!
Pros: Beautiful photos, the opportunity to perform a ceremony with a padlock (there is also a tent nearby where you can purchase a padlock if you don’t have one)
Cons: Poor parking, a lot of people.
Metro: Tretyakovskaya
Address: Luzhkov Bridge connects Bolotnaya Square and Kadashevskaya Embankment, 10 minutes walk from the metro

Bagrationovsky Bridge
This pedestrian bridge is part of the Moscow City complex. It is just like the Kyiv one, closed with transparent, gracefully curved glass walls, which makes it indispensable in bad weather conditions, when no sane bride would agree to walk in the park.
I once photographed a wedding there in exactly these conditions. The rain poured down with no sign of stopping. The idea of going to the park was discarded as impractical and we went there. It was very difficult to photograph because of some absolutely crazy crowd of newlyweds and photographers. Obviously, they all faced the same problem as we did, and since in normal times this bridge is much more beautiful and deserted than the Kiev bridge, they also chose it.
In good weather it is also very beautiful there and, I believe, there are still fewer people. Shooting on the bridge is unlikely to pass for a full-fledged walk, but then it is quite possible to stroll along the embankment and continue the photo shoot there.

Gorky Park of Culture and Leisure and Neskuchny Garden
Gorky Park is one of the most visited in the capital. A huge territory of 119 hectares contains an amusement park, all kinds of shops and cafes, an embankment and, of course, fountains.
Neskuchny Garden is a landscape park that has been preserved from a noble estate called “Neskuchnoye”. It is located on the right bank of the Moscow River and is often considered as part of the Gorky Cultural Park. The garden area is approximately 59.3 hectares. The garden has a huge number of interesting beauties and, of course, one of the popular places for a photo shoot is a beautiful huge wooden arch.
Pros: Large territory, beautiful landscapes for photos at any time of the year, the park is open 24 hours a day
Cons: Problems with parking (due to high traffic it is difficult to find a place), many people on weekends and holidays.
Metro: Park Kultury
Address: st. Krymsky Val, 9; from the metro 5 minutes walk along the Crimean Bridge

Museum-Reserve "Kolomenskoye"
Kolomenskoye is a state art historical-architectural and natural-landscape museum-reserve. Located south of the center of Moscow, it is part of the Moscow State United Museum-Reserve Kolomenskoye-Lefortovo-Lublino-Izmailovo. The advantages of this place include a large territory, location within the city and interesting places for shooting.
There are several colorful churches on the territory of Kolomenskoye. You can go down to the river and take pictures on the wooden stairs that connect the different levels of the park. Streams appear in spring and autumn. Well, the main attraction of Kolomenskoye for photographers is the apple orchard. The even rows of curved old apple trees leave few people indifferent at any time of the year; in the spring, during flowering, it is especially beautiful there, and even in the summer, when the apple trees bear fruit, you can take wonderful pictures.
I haven’t met too many newlyweds in Kolomenskoye, and this, coupled with the large area, makes it easy to shoot there. However, in the summer quite a lot of people come there for a walk, so sometimes you have to wait until passersby leave the frame. I never had any problems with filming there. Although, compared to Arkhangelsk, there are still fewer interesting places for filming.

Bagration Bridge and Moscow City
The Bagration Bridge is a shopping and pedestrian bridge across the Moscow River as part of the Moscow City complex under construction. Stunning views on one side of the bridge and huge glass towers on the other. Inside, the bridge itself is also an interesting object. On the one hand, this is a small shopping center, and on the other, an excellent viewing point on both sides of the Moscow River.
Pros: Filming can be done in any weather (on the bridge), unusual shots against the backdrop of the well-known Moscow City business complex.
Cons: there are often homeless people near the bridge; Bagration’s opening hours are on even days from 5:35 to 2:00, on odd days from 5:25 to 2:00. The route from Vystavochnaya station operates from 7:30 to 23:30.
Metro: Exhibition

Indoor places for photo sessions
Restaurant Turandot The most popular place in Moscow for a chic interior wedding photo shoot. The shooting is paid, the cost of the certificate is 25,000 rubles, this amount can be spent on dinner on any day, regardless of the shooting, which is allowed only in the morning, from 10-00 to 13-00. For maximum quality in Turandot, additional lighting equipment and an assistant will be required. | St. Regis Moscow The St. Regis is a beautiful hotel in the city center. A wide selection of rooms for the bride's morning. The main area of the hotel features a chic spiral staircase, a mosaic dome, beautiful lamps and a grand piano. In good weather, the entrance to the courtyard is open, with beautiful views of the building's façade. | Hotel Milan A popular hotel for the bride's morning and the beginning of the wedding day. The interior of the main hall is quite bright thanks to the glass roof. In the center of the hall there is a large staircase with wrought iron curling railings. There is a white piano, all sorts of lamps, tables and chairs. In a word, there is a wide choice for a wedding photo shoot. | Hotel Ukraine (Radisson) Radisson Royal Hotel, also known as the former Ukraine Hotel. Beautiful rooms. Diverse interiors in terms of lighting and colors. Thanks to this, the photographs look interesting in the series. Beautiful front entrance, across the road there is a park with views of the Government House. |
Photo session in GUM Free indoor place for a photo shoot. GUM has interesting compositions that are updated every season, that is, once every three months. This brings a variety of shots to this all-too-familiar location. There are usually not many people on the top floor of GUM, even during rush hour. Most tourists walk on the first two floors. | Tsaritsyn Palace Palace with royal interiors. Filming is paid and strictly limited to one hour. But during this time it is quite possible to get around all the interesting areas: the golden Catherine Hall, the red reception hall, the staircase, corridors and the balcony with golden columns. | Ritz-Carlton Luxury hotel in the center of Moscow. You are allocated 1 hour for a photo session, which does not allow you to stay in one place for a long time. And there are plenty of beautiful locations in the Ritz, these are: the main reception area, a restaurant with a panoramic glass roof, a summer veranda overlooking the Kremlin, the presidential suite. | Crowne Plaza Moscow The hotel is located on the territory of the World Trade Center with a view of the Ukraine Hotel and Moscow City, depending on the building. A good place for a morning wedding photo shoot. |
Photo studios The studios offer the same atmosphere as hotels and restaurants for wedding photography. But if the result and the combination of price and quality are important, then studios are a budget alternative to more expensive interiors. The advantage of photo studios will be the quality of light thanks to large stationary lighting sources or panoramic windows. | Swissotel Red Hills A good place for an interior photo shoot. Filming is possible in the main lobby of the hotel and in the room. By separate arrangement, in a restaurant with panoramic views of Moscow. | Radisson Blu Olimpiyskiy A new modern hotel in Moscow, well suited for wedding photo shoots, opened in 2022. The page will open on our second website. | Novotel Moscow City Hotel on the territory of the Moscow City complex. A good place for a morning wedding photo shoot in the room and in the hotel interiors. Next, going outside, we continue shooting with a view of the skyscrapers. |
Hotel National A hotel with royal status, one of the best and most prestigious in the capital. It has its own style and history. In accordance with the status, the interior is classic. The National is located opposite Red Square, within walking distance from the Bolshoi Theater. | Hotel Savoy Prestigious hotel with rich interiors. As in other similar places, permission to conduct a wedding photo shoot is granted when ordering certain services: renting a room or holding a banquet in one of the hotel restaurants. | Petrovsky Travel Palace Petrovsky Palace is the residence of the Moscow Patriarchate. Hence the rather serious access control regime. However, for lovers of the noble Empire style this should not be a big problem. The territory of the palace is closed, so you will not meet strangers here. Only security and a few guests. | Hilton Leningradskaya Hotel in the Stalin skyscraper, interiors in the Baroque style with elements of temple architecture. Suitable for starting the day, an interior space for a photo shoot and an evening banquet program. |
Holiday Inn Tanganskaya Inexpensive hotel in the central part of Moscow. Suitable for a morning photo shoot in interiors. Goes well with the Tagansky registry office. | Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Classic expensive hotel in the city center. There are several areas for filming: a large spiral staircase, a lobby bar, a restaurant and rooms. In such places, I usually shoot with the help of a lighting assistant to get the best possible picture. | Alpha Hotel Izmailovo Hotel complex next to the Izmailovo Kremlin. Large selection of rooms in buildings: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta. | Lotte Plaza Quite an interesting hotel. I only filmed here once, and we were in a hurry, so we didn’t go around all its corners. But the impressions remained good. Beautiful interiors, a lot of decor that you can play around with, there is a patio. |
Sokolniki Park
Sokolniki is one of the oldest large parks in Moscow. It is famous for its rose garden and floral decoration - every summer thousands of flowers are planted here and many flower beds are created. On the territory of the park there are Putyaevsky, Olenyi and Zolotye ponds, numerous cafes. Here you can ride a horse or just take a walk. In addition, the park has several amusement towns that operate at above-zero temperatures and without precipitation. To the left of the entrance there are attractions for kids, in the center there is Attrapark and the oldest Luna Park on the territory.
Pros: Large area, opportunity to take original photos on attractions and with animals
Cons: No parking
Metro: Sokolniki
Address: Moscow, Sokolnichesky Val street, building 1, building 1
From the metro 5 minutes walk along the alley of Sokolnicheskaya Square. Walk approximately 400 meters

Ideas if you don't want to get wet
These options may be useful for those who are suddenly caught in bad weather. Most often, newlyweds choose different rooms:
- Photo studio. The most obvious option. Rent a room for a few hours with an interesting interior and additional lighting that will highlight important details. Some photographers suggest moving immediately to your photography studio after it starts to rain.
- Palaces of culture, art galleries, antique salons. Massive columns, frescoes, vintage interiors - everything is created for an elegant, magnificent and solemn wedding.
- Cafes, bars and restaurants. A popular option that allows you to create an atmosphere of coziness and comfort. And if it’s summer, you can sit on the veranda or terrace.
- Shopping centers. Today, the architecture of these premises is striking in its originality. The large areas of the shopping center will allow you to arrange a photo shoot on a grand scale, without disturbing strangers.
- Hotel number. Rent a suite for the whole day. It will be useful not only for the first wedding night, but also for a daytime photo shoot.
- Automobile. Quite a winning option in rainy weather. Thanks to wet glass, photographs will be filled with mystery and charm. This is a timeless classic.

Banquet and refreshments at a wedding in November
We do not shy away from the chosen theme of naturalness and naturalness when decorating tables and creating banquet menus.
Every detail should convey notes of family comfort and love.
November wedding table
A special atmosphere will be created by lit candles on the tables. When serving, it is better to use dishes of the same style.
Plates and flowerpots with gilding will look beautiful. It is better to use napkins to match the wedding color scheme. “Sprinkle” the glasses with artificial frost. Let them sparkle like the first November snow.
The autumn abundance of fruits and vegetables helps not only to diversify serving ideas, but also to prepare many interesting dishes. The menu simply must include grilled vegetables, mushrooms, and fruit pies.
In November, the idea of a buffet is not entirely appropriate.
The cold forces guests to warm themselves with something. And those invited do not always choose outdoor games or dancing for this purpose. To avoid strong alcoholic drinks to warm you up, be sure to include hot dishes in the menu.
And if the banquet begins immediately after a walk, it is better to change traditions and start not with light salads and festive snacks, but with serving hot dishes. They will envelop guests with their unforgettable aromas and, of course, warm them up.
In November, you can already put various punches and grog on the tables. Even ladies will like such warming drinks with rum.
Wedding cake in November
The cake occupies a special place on the wedding table. How should it be different at a November wedding?
Of course, the design. To do this, you can make leaves and bunches of rowan from mastic.
Fruits, even fresh ones, would also be appropriate on the cake as decoration, as well as berries.
Chocolate cakes or sweets with chocolate icing fit perfectly into the November theme.
Botanical Garden of Moscow State University "Apothecary Garden"
The Main Botanical Garden named after N.V. Tsitsin RAS is the largest botanical garden in Europe, has the richest collections of plants representing the diverse flora of almost all continents and climatic zones of the globe. This is one of the most beautiful places in Moscow.
On the territory of the “Apothecary Garden” there is a beautiful Japanese garden.
Pros: Beautiful landscape
Cons: Paid entrance (from 200 rubles) and filming (from 2000 rubles), the Botanical Garden is open from April 29 to October 19. In April and October, planting work is carried out in the garden. In winter the garden is closed. Monday and Thursday are days off.

October wedding | Wedding in December |
A wedding in November is the ideal solution for those who want to fill this significant day with unusual contrasts, a special twist and vivid impressions. There always comes a time in the lives of people in love when they decide to move to a new stage in their relationship - to get married. And this solemn day should remain in the memory of the young for many years, as the happiest day in their lives. The first question that arises when planning a wedding is the question of the time of year and the date of the festive event. It all depends on the desires and preferences of the future spouses. Winter, spring, summer and autumn are absolutely equal to each other and have their own charms. There are not so many people who want to get married in November, so the queues at the registry office are noticeably decreasing, but the likelihood that the day chosen by the newlyweds will be free increases. This is a definite plus. For all lovers, a wedding is the happiest day of their life. And nothing can overshadow this holiday. So don’t count November out of the wedding season, it’s just as good as other months.

How to entertain guests during a walk?
Buffet and area for wishes
If you are planning a banquet or off-site registration at a country hotel or cottage, prepare a buffet table with light snacks and drinks for guests. It is also worth organizing a special relaxation area where guests can relax and spend time in a calm environment while waiting for you.
An excellent addition to the buffet table can be live music or a mini-concert. Set up a special area for wishes in advance. While waiting for you, guests will be able to leisurely write pleasant words in your book of wishes or take part in the filming of a wedding video.

Guest photo session
While you're capturing unforgettable images of your wedding day, you can encourage your guests to do the same! Prepare a special photo zone for guests, choose a background and the necessary props. To diversify the shooting, you can come up with a plot for the photo shoot in advance or even assign roles to the guests.
Prepare special slate boards on which guests can write wishes and capture them in photos. A great find for a wedding would be a Polaroid, with which guests can take snapshots and paste them into your wish book or take them with them as a small souvenir.
Quest
One of the most interesting options could be organizing a quest for your guests! Divide them into teams, draw up a map, come up with tasks and a prize for which they will fight. As tasks, you can choose different forms of wishes for the bride and groom: compose a wish poem, record a congratulation video, or solve riddles about the couple.
The quest should be conducted by a professional leader who will oversee the entire process and who guests can contact for details.

Excursions
If the wedding is taking place abroad or you have chosen an old manor with an interesting history as the venue, you can organize a sightseeing tour for your guests. Invite a guide who can tell you interesting facts about the city or individual historical places. A sea of emotions is guaranteed for your guests! In addition, such an excursion will give them many new topics for conversation at the wedding table.
Master Class
The master class will take exactly the 1-2 hours that you will spend on a walk. Don't plan something big - just choose a creative but simple theme. For example, invite guests to learn a new dance, put together a bouquet with a professional florist, or decorate cupcakes for a sweet table. Find specialists in advance who can organize the process. Don’t forget to prepare the place for the master class, as well as the necessary accessories: gloves, scissors, aprons, etc.

Pros: Large park, picturesque view, wonderful photos in any season.
Cons: Crowded on weekends, lots of cyclists/roller skaters.

Favorable shooting time
In late autumn, it is important to choose the right time for shooting so that daylight beautifully emphasizes the subject of the photo. Daylight hours are divided into several ranges:
- Morning dawn light from 8-15 to 9-00. The sun is at its zenith 12-20. Evening pre-sunset light from 15-30 to 16-10.
Pros of a November wedding
- Inexpensive wedding services;
- Large selection of holiday dates;
- A large number of free restaurants;
- The wedding will not be standard;
- There is no queue at the registry office.
In November, restaurants, just like in other months, hold holiday celebrations, only at lower prices. And all because November is no longer wedding season. This means that finding a suitable place for the celebration will not be difficult. In general, in November, prices for holding events drop noticeably. This is an ideal month for holding both a modest and a magnificent wedding. Young people will not have to stand in lines, order an outfit in advance, or look for a free hall. Preparing for the holiday will be calm and pleasant.

Recommendations for newlyweds
- Use only waterproof cosmetics and strong hair fixatives. Professional makeup artists have long been able to apply makeup in such a way that it not only lasts all day, but also does not run due to the rain.
- Spray your clothes with a moisture-repellent spray before going outside. This will help keep things from getting wet.
- Be sure to take extra pairs of shoes, stockings and socks. Unfortunately, water will definitely get into your shoes, and then your whole day risks being ruined. And if it’s autumn, there’s a risk of catching a cold.
With these simple tips, your looks will be perfect for the rest of the day.
Arkhangelskoye Estate
The large palace and park ensemble Arkhangelskoye estate is located near Krasnogorsk. On its territory there are three beautiful parks - Italian with terraces, sculptures and balustrades, regular French with berceau galleries and trimmed trees, and landscape English. The Big Palace, the Small Palace "Caprice", the Colonnade-Tomb, the Church of Michael the Archangel, beautiful views - there is something to see and where to walk, this is a very pleasant and beautiful place.

Wedding photo shoot in Moscow
A wedding photo shoot should be entrusted to an experienced photographer who knows how to navigate the location well. In a short period of time, it is important to take many beautiful and varied photographs that will remain for the newlyweds a memory of a happy day. When planning a walk route, you need to choose the locations wisely, combining outdoor photography with architectural or interior photography.
Less popular sites and irrelevant places:
Pushkin Museum The museum building is located across the street from the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Stylish photo shoot against the backdrop of majestic stone columns. | Ostankino Park The southern part of the Botanical Garden adjacent to the Ostankino pond. A classic city park not much different from the rest. | Russian Railways Museum Historical trains and locomotives in the open air. There is a fee for filming. A museum employee is assigned to accompany you along the route. You can go inside the cars and the driver's cabin. | Hotel Triumph Palace A small hotel occupying two view floors in a modern building designed in the style of Stalin's skyscrapers. The photo shoot takes place in one of several spacious rooms. There is a room with a beautiful white bathtub. |
Mini-hotel Chenonceau A small hotel suitable for starting the wedding day and filming the morning of the bride and groom. The hotel has its own small area. | Banquet program A selection of evening wedding programs in popular restaurants such as Prague on Arbat, Seasons in Neskuchny Garden, Sovereign Celebration House, and others. | Durasov's estate in Lyublino A venue for official on-site marriage registration and a worthy place to take beautiful wedding photos. After the ceremony, the newlyweds are given enough time for a photo shoot. | Photo session in Gorky Park A colorful park with many flower arrangements and decorative elements. Fun amusement area. The exit to the embankment will diversify the motley picture with calming gray granite. The cultural park is popular for romantic love story photo sessions. |
Krutitskoye Compound An interesting place with its own style. The courtyard is poorly maintained, but this is its value. For lovers of antique wooden gates, brickwork and branchy apple trees, this is the place. | Timiryazevsky Park Timiryazevsky Forest Park is not very suitable for a wedding walk. But it is good for love-story and family filming. But if you are passing by and want a photo session in the forest, then a good photographer will do everything possible. | Novodevichy Convent The location has several advantages: a large pond in which the walls and towers of the monastery are reflected. Location in the center of Moscow. Well-groomed area with flower beds, bushes and spreading willows. | Victory Park (Poklonnaya Gora) A previously popular place, recently it has been in little demand among newlyweds. The main reason is the wide range of locations. You have to walk a lot, which not every bride agrees to. |
Botanical Garden The Botanical Garden has an original Japanese garden and a rock garden, but it takes a long time to get to them from the nearest entrance. Poses for the bride and groom
This moment is perhaps the most important in the entire photo shoot. Of course, a good photographer knows what poses will make for great photos, but you should have several options in your arsenal that you can be 100% confident in.
- Face to face. Some of the most tender wedding shots are those in which the newlyweds look at each other. Such photos are most romantic when taken in a long shot, however, even a close-up will not spoil the shots.
- Holding hands. You can walk in the rain along a beautiful alley, or you can hide under an umbrella - there are many options for this pose. Choose places where there are no large crowds of people, then this pose will look doubly advantageous. As if no one around exists for these two, the Universe belongs only to them. Shots in which hands are captured close-up look great. Such photos look very touching.
- The groom carries the bride in his arms. This option is suitable only for those who are confident in their abilities. Just taking the bride in your arms and not dropping her is not enough. For good photos you need to pose, so you will have to hold your loved one in your arms for a while. For such shots, a long shot would be appropriate. And in the rain, such photographs look much more impressive.
- Embrace. This pose can be played out in different ways. In rainy weather, hugs under an umbrella will look appropriate - this attribute will serve as a kind of shelter for two, creating a “separate world” for them. Usually, in this pose, the eyes of lovers are half-closed - this adds romance to the shots.
- Kisses. They can be modest, romantic, passionate - there is plenty to roam here. A kiss on the bride's forehead or nose looks very sweet and gentle. Kisses in an embrace, with a bride's bouquet or under a veil will look romantic. A close-up will add passion to your photos.
We also suggest that you watch this video and take note of several interesting poses.
Cathedral of Christ the Savior and Patriarchal Bridge
Immediately after its opening, this bridge became a popular place among lovers and newlyweds. It was on this bridge that a new phenomenon was first noticed in Moscow - “love locks” began to appear on its fence: large barn ones, small and elegant ones, with or without names. Here is a stunningly beautiful view of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the Kremlin and Yakimanskaya embankment.
Pros: Picturesque view, opportunity to take beautiful pictures.
Cons: Problems with parking, crowded.
Metro: Kropotkinskaya
Address: st. Volkhonka, 15

Wedding photo shoot in good weather
Cathedral of Christ the Savior It is worth highlighting several diverse places near the Temple: a view of the temple from any side; a walk along the Patriarchal Bridge and a view of the Kremlin towers; park area at the foot of the temple. Each of these zones will produce many beautiful shots. The location is good for golden sunset shots. | Moscow City A good view of Moscow City opens from the Taras Shevchenko embankment. You can also take a walk directly at the foot of the skyscrapers. The third option is to shoot in the interiors of apartments in the Federation, Oko or Mercury towers. A popular place for a night photo shoot. | ||
Kolomenskoye A beautiful place for a photo shoot, especially in good weather. There are many open locations where the sky takes up most of the frame. White stone and wooden buildings blend harmoniously with the picturesque landscapes. In the southern part, near the wooden palace of the Tsar, pink apple trees, unique to Moscow, bloom in the spring. | Boring Garden The Neskuchny Garden has a wide variety of plans: beautiful greenery, alleys, architecture, flowering flower beds and a rose garden, the Moscow River embankment, a dense forest with tall trees. In case of rain, it is possible to take shelter in the covered St. Andrew's Bridge. It also takes decent pictures. | Zaryadye A new, stylish and modern park in the center of the capital. I really love the unique shots of the newlyweds surrounded by greenery, with the Kremlin towers and the Intercession Cathedral in the background. The landscape of Zaryadye itself is very diverse, there is a pond and beautiful birch trees. | Apothecary garden A very picturesque place in the central district of Moscow. Entrance is paid, as is permission for photo and video shooting. The apothecary garden is located within walking distance from the Meshchansky registry office. |
Red Square The most recognizable place in Russia. Despite the many tourists, there are several secrets that allow you to get pictures without unnecessary people. In sunny weather the towers look especially beautiful. You can start shooting from the side of Vasilyevsky Spusk, or from the side of Manezhnaya Square. | Izmailovo Kremlin The territory of the Izmailovo Kremlin is decorated in Old Russian style. Wooden buildings give photos a nice golden tint. Permission for a professional photo shoot is purchased separately from the Kremlin administration. | Square near the Ukraine Hotel A small but pleasant park can be used as an additional place for a photo shoot to diversify the main photo series. Despite the small area, the plans here are quite diverse: a view of the White House of the Government; view of the Ukraine Hotel; interior of the park. | Hermitage Garden The Hermitage Garden is a fairly crowded place, but despite the passers-by, you can choose several dozen plans without any strangers at all. The garden is diverse in its architecture: two large wrought iron gazebos, a fountain, a heart-shaped arch of newlyweds, facades of the New Opera theater |
Arkhangelskoe A beautiful estate a few kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road. If you manage to build a wedding route with a stop at this place, then you will not regret it. The advantages of Arkhangelsk are its picturesque territory. Disadvantages: location, paid entrance, need to walk a lot around the vast territory of the estate. | Moscow State University Graduates of this educational institution especially like to visit the observation deck and the territory of the Moscow State University complex. Filming locations are very far from each other, so filming productivity is inferior to other locations. Moscow State University is suitable for a leisurely walk. | Serebryany Bor The best place for a winter wedding photo shoot, thanks to the low-growing pines on which white snow falls in beautiful caps. From the parking lot to these very pine trees you only need to walk a few meters; a huge advantage of this protected area is the absence of reagents. | VDNKh (VVC) On the territory of VDNKh there is interesting architecture, a chic park part with apple orchards and landscape design. You can also register your marriage at the VDNKh wedding palace. |
Kuzminki Interesting city park. A beautiful pond where you can ride a boat. The shot is very romantic, but not every bride will decide to sit on a boat in a dress. There is also a working stable near the pond; you can rent horses for a photo shoot or horseback riding. | Danilovsky Monastery Closed area of the hotel at the Danilovsky Monastery. The place is paid. You are allowed to enter here only when ordering an on-site registration, or a banquet, or a preliminary agreement for a photo shoot. | Luzhkovsky Bridge There are metal trees on Bolotnaya embankment. The newlyweds hang locks with their names on them as a sign of strengthening their love, and throw the keys into the river. The bridge offers an interesting view of the facades of ancient buildings and the fountains of the river canal. | Hippodrome An ideal place for lovers of photo shoots with beautiful horses. Nowhere else have I seen so many well-groomed animals as at the central hippodrome. This is not surprising, because local horses are active racers participating in races. |
I conduct outdoor wedding photo shoots using creative lenses. They give a gorgeous artistic picture. It is convenient to use two cameras at once: one with a portrait lens, and the second with a wide-angle lens.
Victory Park on Poklonnaya Hill
Victory Park on Poklonnaya Hill is one of the most iconic places in Russia. People come here from all over the world. During a wedding walk, many traditionally come to lay flowers at the Eternal Flame. Poklonnaya Gora is one of the most beautiful places for photo shoots. Green alleys, majestic architecture and, of course, unique fountains.
Pros: Large area, beautiful view
Cons: Paid parking, windy in cold weather
Metro: Victory Park
Novodevichy Convent
The monastery is located in the southwest of Moscow, near the Sportivnaya metro station, close to many of the main “wedding points”: from Vorobyovy Gory to Poklonnaya Gora. Not the best place for a main walk, but the area adjacent to the monastery with a pond is very beautiful. During the shooting, one of my couples stopped by there to walk around the walls of the monastery and along the alleys, and also to hang a symbol of love and fidelity, a personalized padlock, on a small bridge on the territory.
Gifts for guests at a wedding in November
Place gifts in bags. The main thing is to choose the right fabric.
Take coarse burlap, which is used to make original bonbonniere bags. They can be filled like regular bonbonnieres with chocolates, lollipops, and cookies.
But the fashion for bonbonnieres is gradually becoming a thing of the past. Today, young people are trying to give guests more original souvenirs.
Take advantage of seasonal gift ideas for guests. These can be jars of jam, honey or jam.
More substantial gift options are also suitable. Seasonal gifts in the form of warm blankets, scarves, and pillows will help you warm up and surprise your guests.
