The Kolomna Wedding Palace is located in the Moscow State Museum-Reserve, where the country residence of the Tsars used to be located. This place is very popular among young couples who would like to add a twist to the traditional wedding procedure. Here you have the opportunity not only to enjoy the festive interiors, but also to become part of a real theatrical production, immersing yourself in the role of historical heroes.
This palace was recreated in the 90s of the last century, thanks to the support of the Moscow government. The building was built according to drawings that were created on behalf of Catherine II. Previously, it was allowed to hold outdoor wedding ceremonies here, but due to the huge demand for this place, it was decided to open an independent wedding palace here in order to be able to hold more ceremonies.
Photo
Most often I have to unregister in the king's mansions. This is the most important hall of the palace. It is brightly decorated with red and gold painting.
Live music is played during check-in.
Staff
The department's staff includes 8 employees. Most specialists have higher legal education. The position of director is occupied by Oksana Valerievna Petrosyan
The table for painting is quite small compared to other registry offices. But there is nothing superfluous on it, so it is quite convenient to sign.
Palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich
This is what the wedding palace in Kolomenskoye looks like from the outside:
After registration, time is given to conduct a photo shoot in the interiors of the ceremony hall. For an additional fee, you can purchase permission for a photo shoot in other halls of the palace.
Shooting with an ultra-wide-angle lens allows you to show the beautiful ceiling of the king’s main hall:
Recommendations from the photographer
Simple tips that will allow you to get good photos in the Kolomna registry office:
- If guests will be present at registration, ask them in advance to sit in the front rows of chairs. It happens that guests are embarrassed to take the front seats, and the chairs remain empty. It doesn't look very logical in the photographs.
- The ceremony in Kolomenskoye is a whole historical rite. The staff of the wedding palace are transformed into government officials of former times. Newlyweds don't have to look at the photographer all the time, but sometimes it's okay to glance at me. If, for example, you need to move a little or adjust your veil, I will show this with a gesture.
- Rehearse in advance in front of the mirror how you will stand in the registration hall. Usually the bride holds the groom's arm. Pay attention to the posture and expressions of your faces, a slight smile.
- When signing, do not rush, do not lean low over the table and sit up straight.
- You will then be asked to go to the ring exchange counter. At this moment, the bride’s bouquet can be left on the table so that it does not interfere with beautifully putting on the rings.
- If the bride's dress has a train, take it into account when moving. Make turns with a large radius so that the dress spreads beautifully on the floor.
- After being declared husband and wife, there will be an opportunity to hold the newlyweds' first wedding dance. Think about it in advance, it might be worth taking a few lessons from a choreographer.
Review
:
Alexey, my husband and I express our deep gratitude for your work!
Thank you for taking into account all our wishes, helping with staged photographs and noting interesting points in the reportage shooting, which, in my opinion, is very difficult and not everyone knows how to do it!
Yes, it was very cold and rainy on our wedding day, but that didn’t stop us from having a great photo shoot!
And, Alexey, many thanks to your wife, who helps process the photos, making them even more beautiful!
