The day before registration. According to the plan, my beloved and I were supposed to have a free afternoon to just relax. But something went wrong in his company and everything went to hell? On this day, we had to do things that had been postponed due to my illness - buy flowers, go for a steamer, change dollars, buy champagne and steam my wedding dress again, since in the case it was all wrinkled in a few days. Advice. Buy a cover much larger than the dress! As a result, we went to bed at 2 am, but we had to get up at 6 am? Advice. Stylist and makeup artist Tatyana Larshina Ilmenskaya. We didn’t have a rehearsal for the character, I trusted her with everything and was right. In 2 hours, Tatyana gave me amazing makeup with an emphasis on my eyes and a low bun. I had never heard so many compliments before, no one recognized me, I was so good)))

Our main location on March 3 is the New Peterhof Hotel . For our wedding night we chose a superior room + romantic weekend package for two.

I bought my wedding dress at the Bride's Dream salon. I fell in love with it right away at the first fitting, but I decided “what if there is something better?”, I couldn’t find a better one and came back for it. It is very comfortable with a satin skirt and pockets, I felt like a real princess in it) I had it hemmed at the Milano Vera salon on Bolshevikov Ave.

Ankle boots and coats - I bought them in regular boutiques in Mega Dybenko and Galleries, I didn’t look for them in wedding salons. I didn't want anything white except the dress.

I ordered the garter and earrings from Aliexpress.

The rings were bought at the Love Lines store. I really wanted one with diamonds, but Seryozha chose a classic one and, in my opinion, the biggest one.

I can’t say anything about the groom’s image; he chose and bought everything himself. I decided not to interfere with him in this matter. Do you want a dark gray shirt - yes please)))

PART 2. Wedding day.

Wedding day timing: 6.30 – wake up, hearty breakfast and coffee. 7.00 - we leave for Peterhof and check into a hotel. 8.30 - the stylist arrives, does hair and makeup. By 11.00 I should be dressed and ready. While doing hair and makeup, the groom takes photos, goes to a workout, spa, pool? The groom must be ready at 10.45. 10.45 - photographer arrives for 3 hours. Films our meeting with the groom. 11.00 - we go for a photo session in the park. 13.00 - we arrive at the registry office in advance with the photographer. 13.30 – registration. 14.00 - the photographer leaves. 14.30-15.00 - lunch in the restaurant. 20.00 - romantic dinner for two. 21.00 - spa, swimming pool, etc.

My morning started at 6 am, I barely got up, went to breakfast and took a long long shower to wake up. My future husband even got a little nervous and started knocking for me to hurry up)) While I was getting ready, he took things one by one to the car. But I still don’t understand why we didn’t think of packing our things in advance! As a result, we left half an hour later. We were lucky with the weather and March 3 was dry, slightly frosty and no rain or snow.

On the way to Peterhof, I decided to call the stylist and warn him that we would be 10-15 minutes late. When she didn’t answer, I naturally began to beat myself up, suddenly something happened, well, I have the right as a bride, and my future husband has the right to reassure me. Persuasion and my drowsiness won out and I dozed off, and when I woke up there was already a missed SMS on my phone that it was also delayed by about 15 minutes. As a result, we all stood in a traffic jam at the entrance to Peterhof. Well, everything is under control, we can do everything)

We had an early check-in at the hotel at 8.00. We arrived at 8.15, they checked us in very quickly and gave us a room with a large window and a view of the lake. Here I exhaled, told everyone the room number and calmed down.

Getting ready for the bride and groom. Tatyana arrived with a large suitcase of cosmetics, all sorts of things and a good mood. I calmly sat on a chair, not thinking about anything in particular, looked out the window at the lake, smiled and enjoyed this beautiful day. At this time, the groom was running around the room, for some reason he was getting ready in the bathroom, shaving, steaming his shirt, sometimes he came into the room and we had to turn away from each other. Although according to the plan, he was supposed to get ready at the hotel spa with all the amenities and away from the bride.

As a result, in 2 hours Tanya gave me amazing makeup, as I asked, with an emphasis on the eyes, and an airy hairstyle. I’ve never heard so many compliments before))) No one recognized me, even my future husband at the first meeting said what kind of girl of unearthly beauty she was... I’m clearly exaggerating, he couldn’t say anything at all, he looked with joyful, loving eyes and smiled . Later, on a walk, he said: “I’m sitting waiting for my bride, a married man at five minutes, and then some beauty comes up and says to me...” How do you like me?”))

Olya arrived, as she said, 15 minutes early to say hello and take some pictures in the room. We didn’t specifically film the bride’s morning. As soon as she entered, she immediately took out the spotlights and the creative process began) The bride’s bouquet, details, preparations (which were not planned, otherwise I would have worn my beautiful boudoir dress) for which many thanks to her!

When we decided to take a couple of shots in the hallway, everyone went there - me and the stylist and photographer for a beautiful photo, and my future husband helped and brought us a chair, but no one took the room key)) In the end, the groom had to go get a spare key at reception The funny thing is that Seryozha and I did not look at each other, so as not to spoil the first meeting, we constantly turned away and hid.

Having safely got to the room, we sent the groom to the pub where our first meeting was planned. Returning to my room, I tried to put on my dress and realized that I was stuck. Ahhhh my hair! It wasn’t, we dressed him, straightened his hair where possible, but one strand still kept coming out and getting into his eyes all day.

The first meeting with the groom took place in the hotel pub. Olya and I went downstairs and she asked me to wait at the pub while she joked with Seryozha.

At this time, I was calmly walking along the corridor, I don’t know why I didn’t stand still, smiled like a fool and kept waiting for when)) There was not a bit of excitement. And Olya photographed my future husband.

And then Olga comes for me, I count to 10 and go show off to my groom how beautiful I am? She twirled and twirled in front of him and we began hugging and kissing. There were a lot of positive and trembling emotions. I even forgot to ask if he liked the dress, only in the evening I remembered that he had not seen it. So we followed one tradition.

Then we took some more photos in the hotel pub.

And we went for a walk in the Lower Park. I’ll say a few words - it was cold and my shoelaces kept coming undone. And walking with a photographer with a very bad runny nose is such a pleasure. Winter Peterhof is unusual in its beauty. Instead of a thousand words there are many photos.

Marriage registry. Our ceremonial registration at the registry office was scheduled for 13.30, but as agreed, we arrived at 13.00.

While there was time, we took a couple of photos at the registry office and I tried to wash the dress, spat and went in what I was wearing... Okay, what about without guests?

It was very funny at the registry office. Just two of our guests, the registry office employees tell us to walk in a circle in front of them. For what? Okay, let's go. And it began.. The girl registrar with a very happy face began to talk in an incredibly joyful voice about the “ship of love”, and my fiance began to neigh like a horse) He did not expect that everything we laughed at in the stories about the registry office would be with us. He apologized three times, seemed to have calmed down, and then remembered that rings still wouldn’t fit on our fingers. And again he laughed hysterically. From behind, we burst out laughing, at first holding back, and then loudly, our “numerous” guests, and the receptionist herself couldn’t stand it))) We wipe away our tears of laughter, and at this time Olya quickly clicks the camera. The festive lunch took place at the Coffee Love cafe, which is located opposite the Peter and Paul Cathedral. The interior of the cafe is very unusual, I would call it eclectic style. The cafe staff gave us 2 wedding cake pieces as a gift and decorated them with wishes for our wedding - it was very nice. They brought out the hot food and set it on fire in front of us, it looked beautiful and unusual. We really liked the food, the desserts are incredible, and after this cafe I fell in love with the Red Velvet cake.

After an incredibly tasty and satisfying lunch, we took a nap in our room, played billiards, and went to the spa and pool.

A romantic dinner for two took place at the Duck Drake pub. This is strange, why did the hotel choose a pub for romance? The food is delicious, served like in a restaurant. There were candles, live music on that same piano, delicious wine, and besides us, only one couple. A good end to the evening. And we sat down at the same table where the first meeting took place.

There was a very touching moment for me when my husband took 37 pins out of my hair before going to bed)

I won’t describe the second day in Peterhof and it turned out to be a lot of letters. According to good tradition, I’ll send you better photos. We ate delicious food, swam, had spa treatments, and relaxed our body and soul.
