Pastry Design Solutions for Blue Wedding Cakes

A blue wedding celebration involves the use of deep, rich tones, and the creations of confectioners are no exception.

To obtain a blue color in cake design, use:

  • blue mastic and glaze;
  • blueberries, blueberries;
  • a variety of sweet blue decor: floral arrangements, ribbons, bows;
  • inedible elements: fresh flowers, satin ribbons.

The most popular option for a celebration in blue is a multi-tiered cake. Masters of confectionery art place tiers on top of each other; an option can also be used when each tier lies on a separate dish, mounted on special stands.

What decor will be on the cake depends on the wishes of the young couple and the skills of a professional pastry chef. This piece of confectionery art looks simply magnificent.

The most unusual and interesting ideas of confectioners for white and blue wedding cakes are the following:

Blue + orange, peach

The combination of blue and orange is a softer version of the contrast of complementary colors, where the first, like a shade of blue, is the opposite of the second. Unlike pure contrast, a softer one looks more attractive and is used much more often in life. It leaves a feeling of unity between opposite sides. Consider the following combinations:

White-blue is combined with orange: light peach, orange-peach, orange-coral, carrot, red-orange. Neutral colors: white, light gray, marengo.

Light blue is combined with orange: coral, orange, fiery, red-orange, red. Basic: cream, dark gray, wet asphalt.

Gray-blue is combined with orange: light orange-peach, coral-peach, orange-coral, copper, dark orange. Base: milky, gray, anthracite.

Green-blue is combined with orange: peach, coral, carrot, red-orange, red. Base: creamy, old wood, graphite.
