Newlyweds in the post-Soviet space are gradually adopting beautiful Western traditions. Moreover, they do not blindly copy other people’s ceremonies, but strive to create their own, unique surroundings. They are helped in this by creative designers from wedding agencies and decorative artists who specialize in decorating outdoor ceremonies. They use fresh flowers, candles, hundreds of meters of fabric, pigeons in golden cages, umbrellas and even... motorcycles.

You can use a huge number of interesting accessories in your design: original wedding arches, forged racks for hanging balloons, an unusual registration table, vintage lanterns and much more. Some couples are inclined to think that doing away registration with their own hands is very romantic and symbolic.

Decorating the yard of a private house for a wedding

In order for the surrounding area to speak with all its appearance about the solemnity of the event, you need to create an enchanting atmosphere. You need to think about how to decorate the yard with your own hands in advance, since some work will take time (tidy up the lawn, create original wicker fences, etc.).

An arch, which is a symbol of a new stage in the life of the newlyweds, would be a suitable attribute for an open-air wedding. The shape can be any - in the form of a horseshoe, heart, U-shaped, etc. The structure is decorated with light fabric, ribbons, and flowers. The arch will serve as a good backdrop for a photo shoot.

Since the space in the yard is large, it is better to divide it into zones, separating a place for congratulations and gift-giving, a dance floor, and a feast area. An appropriate decoration for the local area would be balloons, from which they form dimensional compositions in the form of the same arch above the table of the bride and groom, a large heart, or attach them to the chairs of guests. You need to select balloons of one or two shades, since a multi-colored kaleidoscope will create the feeling of a birthday celebration, not a wedding. In the evening, the fabulous atmosphere will be emphasized by LED garlands hung throughout the site. They will also serve as additional lighting.
