Internet meme
Few people are not familiar with the thousands of memes on the World Wide Web. For those who are in the tank, this term denotes a phrase, picture, activity that was formed spontaneously and quickly gained popularity. Among the most popular and well-known are “the little hand”, “the stubborn fox”, “the suspicious dog”, “the girl-disaster”, “and the toastmaster is good, and the competitions are interesting.”
Where did the concept of “meme” even come from? Many consider it a neologism of recent years, formed on the Internet. However, such an assumption is fundamentally incorrect.
This term is quite old and was first used in 1976 by Professor Richard Dawkins in his work “The Selfish Gene”:
A meme is a unit of cultural information that can spread at lightning speed.
The term did not enter the active vocabulary, but surfaced in 1994 when it was used by Douglas Rothschild to define a special type of media virus.
Why is it useful to know a little about the newlyweds' relatives at a wedding?
A friend of mine had a wedding three years ago. Now I remember.
A mutual friend was invited to a wedding as a witness and, part-time, toastmaster. So let's say in order to save money on a gift. And the toastmaster.
We are sitting at the future toastmaster’s house, drinking tea. I help him with the program.
I’m starting to imagine how the mother of the bride, who divorced her father a couple of months ago, will tell this.
PS Thanks to those who edit tags, I'm a potato in this regard.
An inexhaustible source of irony
In just a few months, the phrase was replicated in hundreds of different pictures and videos.
It is not surprising that a traditional Russian wedding with a toastmaster has come under the radar of sharp-tongued Internet jokers. The reality is that even in the 21st century, most wedding hosts have still not moved away from Soviet traditions and style.
Typical wedding competitions, designed for a well-tipsy audience, are usually vulgar and primitive. Interestingly, the vast majority of pictures with this meme are real wedding photos.
This meme is not a copy of any foreign joke and has spread exclusively on the RuNet. Perhaps because of its specificity and understandability only by the Russian-speaking part of the population.
At the party in honor of Freshman's Day on September 22 at the Baikonur concert and dance hall in Tyumen, young people and girls took part in competitions that were quite risky from a moral point of view. They stripped almost naked, and the girls publicly imitated oral-genital contact.
The prize for the best participant was a certificate for a thousand rubles to the tattoo parlor. On social networks, however, they claim that a military ID was attached to it. Someone present at the show filmed what was happening and posted it publicly. Of course, a scandal broke out.
Representatives of Tyumen State University hastened to distance themselves from the dubious event. University employee Elena Druzhinina said that the official initiation into students took place at the university on September 14. She emphasized that the university does not intend to expel or punish students. The academic ethics commission will decide their fate, but the university is preparing an appeal to law enforcement agencies.
“It is important, since our university is mentioned, to find out who conducted it, who gave permission and was the instigator in such competitions.
The situation is unique to each student and will be decided by the ethics committee. We don’t plan to make hasty decisions here,” said Elena Druzhinina. Photo source: VKontakte
The university press service confirmed that draconian measures should not be expected. Moreover, the party was organized for students of all Tyumen universities, and not just Tyumen State University.
“We have looked at the video, but it is not of very good quality; it is difficult to identify our students in it.
If we find out who it is, we will hold professional measures. We will not expel anyone,” the university press service said. Photo source: VKontakte
According to the head of the Baikonur KTZ Vadim Shvets, on September 22 the hall was rented by the Ruslan Krasilnikov School of Organizers.
Now he doesn't answer phone calls. However, it became known that an exclusive all-inclusive club party in Baikonur costs about 120 thousand rubles. Photo source: VKontakte
The organizer of the party, according to rumors, was the famous showman Nikita Snusevsky in Tyumen. However, he resolutely disowned this dubious honor.
“I have no involvement in organizing the event.
Especially for the competition. I advertised the project because I am a public figure among my peers in Tyumen,” he said. Photo source: VKontakte
Party participants say that people of all ages were present, not just freshmen. There were older and younger, minors. But after 22:00 they were taken out of the club by security. What time the odious competition began, however, is not known.
Those present claim that the organizers of the competition themselves did not expect that things would go so far. The maximum they expected was that the participants would remain in their underwear.
The video circulated throughout the RuNet and publications by Russian media made the scandalous party public.
On social networks, Tyumen residents complain that they did not want such fame for their city. They are ashamed that now Russians will associate Tyumen State University with wild customs, alcohol parties and stripping contests. Photo source: VKontakte
Urban youth said that such spectacles are typical for all clubs in Russia.
It’s just that not everywhere there is an alternatively gifted viewer who will film them and put them in the public domain. They write that they are offended that students can be expelled because of such nonsense. By the way, the video was posted on Instagram by a user under the nickname sanyara_boy17. Now he has closed his profile. Photo source: “VKontakte”
Naturally, those who wanted to “shoot” the young people who had committed a fine spoke out in chats, but in general the discussion boiled down to the problem of fathers and children with the participation of people of different generations.
Some reproached modern youth for total depravity, others reasonably noted that someone raised them. Is it not you, dear moralfags? Photo source: VKontakte
“For adult participants, such competitions are the norm, or rather, not quite, but no one forcibly undressed the girls, they wanted it themselves and did it themselves. The girls were ready to do this for prizes,” said one of the organizers of the city party, Mark Sushkov.
Apparently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Tyumen region does not share his opinion, since the police have already begun an investigation. They will find out whether minors were present at the party, and will also find its organizers.

A section in which we publish useful materials and selections relating to all the details of weddings, and introduce you to the work of wedding hosts, who have their own special and individual style of work.
More and more often you can hear the following phrase from newlyweds: “no competitions at the wedding.” One gets the feeling that the couple is either being modest or imagining “vulgar” competitions in their heads with dressing up and counting money. This is where the questions arise: is it worth categorically refusing to hold competitions at your wedding, and if not, then how to make the wedding dynamic, interesting and modern? Popular presenters have long found the answer, and it sounds like this - “an interactive program.”
Interactive, competitions, “movement” - you can call it whatever you like. The main thing is that inside there is everything that is aimed at revealing the intellectual, artistic, creative, choreographic, acting, vocal and any other abilities of our dear guests. In addition to the fact that interactive activities should bring joy and pleasure to all those present, the presenter is also faced with the task of introducing, uniting, uniting people who are unfamiliar or barely familiar until now, creating a so-called “comfort zone” for them. Today we decided to introduce our readers to those who have long ago successfully replaced the “pencil in a bottle” with new experiences.
A “traffic jam” has formed in Tyumen of those wishing to take the traffic police exam
Let us remind you that according to the law, the traffic police is obliged to provide a public service for taking the exam. And according to the new regulations, also within a certain time frame: i.e. If the cadet does not pass the first time, then he must be accepted no later than after 2 months.
The Moscow general, commenting on the new regulations, said that the abolition of the autodrome was intended, among other things, to increase capacity.
For those who are not in the know, let us explain that at the moment in Tyumen, the queue for the exam at the traffic police is more than 2000 people.
Set aside one month, work hard, clear out this pile, set up a normal working mode and work on it in the future. All you need is the desire of the leader.
Roman Klyachkin
Man-orchestra
Roman Klyachkin is a positive and energetic presenter, decorating every event with dynamics and lightning-fast reactions. An actor, comedian and presenter, Roman is widely known to the public as a participant in comedy projects on the TNT channel. “Duet Beautiful”, together with Ilya Sobolev, is the winner of the show “Laughter without rules” on TNT, participants in the projects “Killer League”, “Comedy Club” and many others.
Today Roman is one of the most famous and expensive showmen in Moscow. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is able to give a good mood to everyone present.
To charm, intrigue, evoke enthusiastic emotions, make everyone have fun to the fullest, “charge” the newlyweds with the energy of happiness and positivity. These are the goals the leader sets for himself. Roman has a large number of interesting, exclusive, creative interactions and developments in his arsenal. Klyachkin’s program is a bet on humor and improvisation: to amuse, surprise, arrange interactions and practical jokes - this is his job.
Roman has gone through a serious school of stand-up performances, so it is almost impossible to take him by surprise, confuse him or confuse him. He always has something to say. And most often what he says will be met with smiles and laughter. The novel is ideal where freshness, energy and creativity are required from the presenter.
Modern weddings require greater involvement of the host in the preparation process, especially when discussing the program. The most common mistake is applying the same interactive message to different audiences. Interactivity is when the presenter and the couple prepare for it in advance. He should be with the guys or their guests. The competition usually has nothing to do with the couple, and is held solely for the sake of “playing for time.”
Interactive and competition are, in fact, synonymous concepts. Much like the presenter and toastmaster. The main difference is in the associations that people have. When the start of the competition is announced, balls, carrots, graters, ladles, pencils, bottles and sack races immediately pop up in your mind. Interactive is a modern word and implies activity that has nothing to do with the Soviet Union. Presenter Yuri Mikhlin fights for this modernity, as well as high-quality humor and a general positive mood in his work.
Yuri came to the presenter from KVN, was a participant in the Comedy Battle project and a screenwriter for the Ural Dumplings show. It is the author’s rich experience that helps Mikhlin come up with new funny interactives using modern gadgets.
“The ideal interactive program at a wedding is a program designed for people of all generations, where it is equally advantageous to be both a participant in the interactive and to remain in the role of a spectator. The host can communicate unobtrusively with the guests, and if the guest answers him, and when the host asks to raise his hand, he raises it, then, in general, he is already in the game,” says Yuri.
The most common mistake that presenters make when putting together a program is “not to worry.” For them, the wedding takes place in two stages: the first is to meet the newlyweds and charm, the second is to show up on time for the celebration. For Yuri, the most important stage is preparation for the wedding - painstaking joint work with the newlyweds and attention to detail in advance. This is elementary: the host must know the newlyweds as well as the guests - their acquaintance history, the key moments in the development of their relationship, when and how the proposal was made. This will allow you to joke appropriately and maintain dialogue.
An interactive wedding program could consist only of original ideas, but still Mikhlin, although ambitious and experienced, believes that one head, as they say, is good, but two... For a change, Yuri often meets and communicates with colleagues similar in style and in spirit. Often, valuable ideas are borrowed from television programs and upgraded into wedding games, especially since it is interesting for guests to find themselves in the role of participants in shows that are close to them, like “Moscow Evenings” on First and “Improvisation” on TNT.
Another trump card in the program is mini-games. They are simple and quick, they close the pause where necessary, they are played to the point of laughter, not to the winner, and are sometimes invented by the presenter on the fly. It's not easy and that's why it's interesting. Any unforeseen situation is a challenge; it is an opportunity to show your professionalism, turning a minus into a plus.
In addition to interactive events, there is another important part of the wedding - these are traditional moments. And they simply need to be changed in order to keep up with the times, Yuri believes. Here are a couple of secrets for beginners: iPhones help to vote for a boy and a girl, thanks to VR glasses worn by the groom, the theft of the bride takes place before everyone’s eyes, and this season it was fashionable to catch a bouquet in the mannequin challenge style.
“Competition” for me is a concept that is strongly associated with the word “toastmaster”. We don't have that anymore. And interactivity is more like brainstorming or bringing together guests, much more intellectual by definition. It is designed specifically for this group of people whose event we are organizing.
“My task as a host is not just to make a holiday, but to create a world in which there will be a good mood, humor, laughter, as well as memories, a sincere atmosphere and truly touching moments,” Vasily Sorokin writes about himself. And it seems that he is confident in what he says, because this impressive blond has held more than 2,000 events of various sizes.
Vasily tries to keep abreast of modern technologies. At the moment, the market for entertainment applications is limitless, and even using a smartphone you can create pleasant surprises for an event: from editing SDE video to creating 3D models of guests. The presenter is sure that an ideal program is the case when not a single guest was left unattended and was able to find himself in the program.
But Sorokin tries not to use the word “competitions” in his work. “It’s simple: in the competition there is a winner and, roughly speaking, a loser, and a current topic that does not require competition is played out interactively,” says the presenter.
To understand what the couple and guests want, it is best to analyze their hobbies, interests and interests. Sometimes the answer to this question lies in the joint creativity of the presenter and the client. Vasily is sure that any well-spoken phrase, spontaneous initiative of the guest will inevitably become a highlight of the wedding day. Therefore, rely on technology, and don’t make a mistake yourself. The prefix “digital” is one of the trump cards in the hands of the presenter, but not the basis of his program. Technologies are not always appropriate: content is more important than external bonuses. And don’t forget that there shouldn’t be a lot of interactions. The golden mean is from three to five.
, head of a wedding agency.
The number of interactive events at a wedding depends on the concept of the event. There are celebrations where we don’t use them at all: there is a dance block going on, or guests are just chatting. It all depends on the concept. If the concept is suitable, then the optimal number is 3-4 interactive ones.
The nature of interactions is simple and has long been known to all presenters. But the secret ingredient that makes a wedding truly special is personalized content. It is this that the presenter Denis Drozdov thinks through and creates together with the guests of the holiday and the future newlyweds.
“The ideal interactive program is when it is interesting for all the guests and the presenter. When you yourself get high and do it as sincerely and involved as possible,” Denis is sure.
There are two main models from which all interactions are created: quiz and action. In the first case, you need to guess something, in the second, you need to complete a certain task. It is very important not just to use these designs, but to come up with an idea and personalization that will make the wedding special and will be as close and understandable as possible to everyone present. An interactive idea, like a wedding concept, can come from one word. A child’s passion or hobby, a favorite song, or maybe even the work of future newlyweds. Moreover, the idea itself can be repeated, this is normal, but the content - never!
Each wedding is unique in that it brings together different people in one place for the first time. The presenter’s task is to find something that will unite them and captivate them for the whole evening. Let's take movies and music, for example. The topic itself is essentially not new. What to attract? Filling. Films that are symbolic for the couple and most interesting for a particular occasion. Unite the older and younger generations? We make a mix of Hollywood and Soviet cinema. In some cases, you can use the “reverse” move. Young people guess songs or films known to their elders, and vice versa.
The more guests, the more likely it is that some of them will be left unattended. But not with a competent presenter. For weddings with more than 50 guests, Denis uses formats that involve and unite the maximum number of people. For example, a quiz.
Quiz (from the English quiz) is a competition during which teams of participants answer several rounds of questions. How to create teams? Easily. They will be guests who sit at the same table. On each table there is a card on which guests write down answers to questions. Time is limited, which adds excitement and unity at the table. After the end of the mini-game, the cards are collected by the presenter or assistant, and you can calmly take a break, after which the results will be announced and the most erudite table will be awarded. It turns out stylish, atmospheric and personal.
In Denis’s portfolio for 2022 you will find a bold and successful experiment - a wedding in the “quiz” style. A game of 5 rounds, compiled together with the newlyweds, who received the role of the main judges of the evening. Questions about the couple, unique wedding traditions around the world, travel, cinema and music, arranged in a personal presentation. In the intervals between rounds there will be dancing, hookahs, a drawing of a bouquet, a men's battle, a cake, and “wedding fortune” for the guests. The evening was easy, exciting and fun, introducing and uniting all the guests to each other. And an idea that accidentally appeared during a discussion at the first meeting could well become a good tradition in this family. This, according to Denis, is a good interactive component.
Olga Kramar, head of the agency.
It is also very important to discuss everything with the organizer and the couple. With four different opinions, the truth is born much faster. When drawing up the program, you need to take into account the number of guests, artists and the general style of the event. Optimally from 1 to 4. Sometimes we don’t conduct even one. The most popular this season were video gadgets. Guests are filmed, guests are filmed, in advance, during the event - it doesn’t matter. People like to see themselves on screen.
Leonid believes: an ideal interactive program happens when the audience is ready to participate and communicate, and the host is ready to improvise at every stage of the holiday. An important point for good interactivity is sound: it is almost impossible to work interactively with poor sound.
Now interactive and competition are different as concepts, but by their nature they are absolutely the same tools for the presenter. The interactive has more room for action by the guest participant and a much broader interpretation of the rules from the presenter. The competition is stricter and less free to improvise. Interactivity has conditional rules - points around which everything is built on the improvisation of the presenter.
Most often, during a wedding, Leonid uses only phones: other gadgets are too difficult to use in the program. However, modern technologies have already changed the world of the event: tracks are pumped during the holiday, and many interactions require a screen. The program includes individual developments and a lot of successfully implemented borrowings. Interactions on the go also happen frequently. Leonid says: “For example, recently the winners of one competition, who won cars and apartments, showed right during the gala dinner how they would drive them and how they would live in them. This was done absolutely straight away, despite such expensive prizes.”
It doesn’t matter how many interactive events or competitions there will be at the wedding: one or two, five or more, or none at all. The main thing is what kind of atmosphere the presenter creates. An audience that does not want banal competitions can be asked to reconsider their attitude towards competitions in general. Leonid says: “It’s not about the competition, it’s about me. It's like a Caesar salad: it has the same ingredients all over the world: lettuce, tomatoes, and so on. But in some places he is finger-licking good, and in others he is just normal. It's all about the cook. The same goes for competitions and interactive activities.”
, head of a wedding agency.
At our weddings, we carefully consider the guests and their interests, but sometimes the clients themselves give the wrong information: for example, they say that people don’t want dancing or interactive activities, when people, on the contrary, want to dance. The advantage of a good presenter is that he can quickly get his bearings and correctly present the required interaction.
Toastmaster "from God"
My sister was getting married. The painting was done in the morning, and the cafe was booked for the evening. Well, you signed, what to do until evening? Let's go on a ride around monuments, to the eternal flame, etc.
We drove around all day without really eating anything. We arrived at the cafe, the tables were full of food, there was music, the hired toastmaster was telling jokes and jokes. We sat down at the tables. Toastmaster: “Let’s raise our glasses to. “, after five minutes: “Let’s raise a glass to. “, after another five minutes: “Let’s raise our glasses to. "
In short, on an empty stomach, after half an hour, half of the guests, what is called “their face in the salad,” were lying down. I don’t remember whether there were competitions there or not, I only remembered the salad from the food, close. My sister was offended.

Yuri is a comedy presenter with a modern approach and an original show program. Semi-finalist of the Comedy Battle show (TNT), author of the Ural Dumplings show (STS). The presenter believes that the key to the success of his work is easy and unobtrusive presentation, a tactful approach to guests, the use of fresh ideas and modern technologies in the show program, improvisation and an instant reaction to what is happening, as well as sincere love for his work.
Fool me Each of the participants is given a whole pack of chewing gum, for example, Orbit. At the “start” command, each participant begins the chewing process. The task is to chew all the plates faster than the others and inflate the largest balloon. The winner and owner of the strongest jaws will receive a prize.
By centimeters For this competition you will need a centimeter and prepared certificates (medals), into which the vocations and titles of the guests will then be written. The host names the category, and guests who feel that they can take a prize in this category take part, and the measurements decide everything. Then everyone will be able to receive their own certificate, for example, “Outstanding Breasts”, “Elf Ears”, “Legs from Ears”, “Wasp Waist”, “Musical Fingers”, “Miniature Palms”, “Almost Twine”, “Navel-Mariana Trench” ", "Julia Roberts Smile" and so on.
Feel the booty
The competition is fun and interesting. Each participant's eyes are closed and an object is placed on a chair, for example, a nut, a spoon, a pencil, and so on. Each participant sits down on a chair and tries to guess what is under his soft spot. Whoever guesses the most items correctly will receive a prize.
Crazy dancing
Participants are divided into pairs. In each pair, one leg of one participant is tied to one leg of the second participant. The host turns on the music and commands are given to dance, for example, lambada, cancan, chunga-changa, hip-hop, and so on. It will be interesting to watch how the couples will interact and dance with their feet tied. The most eccentric and talented couple will receive a prize.
Don't take me weakly
In this competition, the presenter offers to do one of two things: do 500 push-ups or: - drink a glass of vodka (in fact, there will be water in the glass); - drink a liter of potassium permanganate (diluted cherry juice); - eat 2 worms (in fact, the worms will be gummy); - smear your face with mud (melted chocolate) and so on. It will be interesting who is not weak to accomplish a “feat” and it will be funny to watch the surprised faces when the truth turns out to be untrue. And the most courageous ones will receive prizes.
Make up your own word
For this competition, the presenter must think through and choose interesting words. For example, in front of the guests there is an easel and the word - . u. nya The host explains that the guests must think carefully and pronounce the word that fits, that is, simply add letters instead of dots. Or, for example, you need to make up a word of 5 letters, which must contain the letters p, z, d, a. In this way, guests will cheer themselves up and become inspired. But the answers are quite simple. The first option is the kitchen, and the second option is the west.
Customs
Participants are divided into two teams. The first team is customs, and the second is people who travel abroad. Customs will not let them through until they answer the main question: “What will you take with you abroad first?” Travelers must name things that begin with the same letter as their name. Whoever names the most things wins.
Cuckoo cuckoo bought a hood
This competition involves those interested who are ready to show their announcer skills at speed. Each participant holds two nuts in his mouth, and the leader has a stopwatch in his hands. Each person in turn, with nuts in their mouths, says a simple tongue twister: “The cuckoo bought a hood. Put on the cuckoo's hood. How funny he is in the hood! You can choose another one. Whoever tells the tongue twister in the shortest time without dropping the nut from his mouth wins.
Legs can do anything
Each participant sits on his butt, takes a marker at his feet (between his feet) and must write a phrase on a piece of paper, for example, I’m great. All letters must be clearly visible. Whichever of the guys writes the phrase faster will win a prize.
Show me your tongue
The guys are divided into teams. One by one, the participants of each team are invited to the center of the room, the participant takes out his forfeit from the hat, in which a certain phrase is written, difficult to pronounce, for example, “a somersault with a twist” or “the ships were still able to catch” and so on. Each participant goes to the center and, opening his mouth wide, sticking out his tongue completely, pronounces the phrase assigned to him, and his team must guess as quickly as possible and pronounce this very phrase word for word. If the team this participant is a member of guesses, it gets its point; if the opposing team guesses, it gets 2 points. There is an incentive and there will certainly be fun after everyone sticks out their tongue and tries to say something.
No real holiday would be complete without the presence of an active toastmaster and various competitions. After all, in order to have fun, instead of the usual get-togethers, a good toastmaster and interesting competitions are important.
How to choose a toastmaster:
- The toastmaster is the main feature of the evening, be it a wedding, corporate event or anniversary. Therefore, his choice should be taken responsibly. It’s better to start choosing in advance, since many presenters’ appointments, especially for the spring-summer season, are filled up a whole year in advance.
- You should first familiarize yourself with some of the works of each presenter in order to see the style of his conversation, communication, and competitions. Some people prefer the classics, while others are not afraid to introduce innovations and creative ideas into their activities. Some are aimed at the younger generation, while others are aimed at the older generation.
- It is better to choose those presenters who have already been seen at some event and have attracted attention. You can also consider the option of a toastmaster recommended by friends. If you have to choose blindly, it is better to carefully read the previous works and conclude an agreement that will provide for all the nuances that protect the customer from deception.
- When the toastmaster is chosen, it is important to discuss all the details with him. The customer can choose those competitions that he likes, or he can offer to contribute something of his own. The host may ask to purchase small gifts for sweepstakes or competitions.
Budget-friendly and rich-fucking-drunk
My parents were very anxious that my wife and I would have a wedding! Toastmaster, the number of guests is close to infinity and other garbage. For us, as is already clear from the context, such joy was unnecessary. So, my future wife and I, now and then, thought about it and decided! They got married secretly, without notifying anyone, and when the parents once again came with a big and fat wedding, they showed them a marriage certificate. They didn’t talk for a week – they were offended, but then they still said:
- Let's at least make it an evening?
Done. In terms of size, the celebration was more like a modest birthday. Of those invited – three friends, my parents, my brother, my wife’s two sisters – that’s all. But the wedding turned out to be truly sincere, without drunken screamers, without massacres, without idiotic competitions and other terrible heresies.
It’s true that the parents were grieving, but somehow it doesn’t seem like a human being. Well, okay, well, let's go. Quickly, literally a year and a half later, my brother also got married. Everything about them was humane. And the money from the parents for the wedding is on a gigantic scale, and the guests are endless, and the troublemakers are also on an infinite scale. And there was a drunken fight, and nerves were fried, and money was thrown away, and the toastmaster, whom he wanted to strangle at a certain moment.
At the end of that wedding, the next day, the parents said:
- Damn, it’s so good that you had such a normal wedding, we couldn’t have pulled off two of them.
Table competitions
Such competitions provide fun even while sitting at the table. This is very convenient, it does not oblige all guests to get up and move, but at the same time attracts everyone to participate at once.
- Win-win lotteries are popular for all events. They help newlyweds, anniversaries, and birthday people raise a small capital, and guests can receive a small memorable gift. The presenter offers to purchase lottery tickets at a low price, and then draws them. Each ticket comes with a gift, which is presented in a comic form: a mirror, soap, soap bubbles, a pen and much more.
- "Friendly handshakes." A popular competition when everyone sitting at the table takes turns transferring the warmth of their hands to each other. The players are divided into two teams, if it is a wedding, then into the team of the bride and groom. The team whose table handshakes the fastest is the winner.
- "Quizzes". The toastmaster prepares questions in advance, the answers to which are related to the hero of the day, newlyweds or birthday boy. Those who answer the question correctly are given a memorable gift.
- “What the guest shows.” Each invitee is invited to draw one card, which depicts some kind of emotion. It needs to be shown so believably that other guests will guess.
- “Congratulations to the hero of the day, the birthday boy, the newlyweds.” Each guest draws a card, which suggests how to congratulate: sing a song, recite a poem, give compliments, dance or just smile. There can be a huge number of variations.

Mobile competitions
Everyone knows that if you sit for a long time at a holiday, you will definitely get bored, so if the toastmaster is a good toastmaster, interesting competitions are guaranteed.
- “We will collect the hero of the day, the birthday boy, the newlyweds in parts.” Each guest is invited to go to the stand where a Whatman paper is fixed and, blindfolded, draw the indicated part of the body of the head of the evening. The result is an interesting and fun portrait.
- "Get to know your wife." This fun competition is perfect for a wedding event. The groom is blindfolded, and girls and women are lined up in a circle. The future husband needs to guess “by touch” who his wife is.
- “Show the fairy tale in a new way.” A popular team competition allows you to have fun and relax your guests. From those present, several people are selected, corresponding to the number of heroes of the selected fairy tale. Each person is given a sheet describing his role and intended actions and some attribute or mask of the hero. It is important that the fairy tale be funny, adapted from a classic fairy tale. Such a competition allows even strangers to relax and unite.
- "Tongue Twisters". Such a banal task as pronouncing a tongue twister quickly and clearly turns out to be fun and funny at any holiday. You just need to choose tongue twisters that are tricky, complex and funny.
- “Move the object.” This competitive competition involves division into two teams. Players need to move all the necessary objects, such as balls, from one place to another. But this must be done either without hands, or with just legs, or with any part of the body. The toastmaster gives instructions. Whoever copes faster and does not break the rules wins.
- "Battle". This competition will perfectly unite two generations. Players are divided into two teams: “those under 40” and “those over 40.” You are asked to dance to the given music. Whose dance is better, more friendly and lively, that team is considered the winner. But the melody should be chosen in reverse: old hits for young people, and modern music for the older generation.

The second wave has begun, and I have something to tell.
When I was 14 years old, my parents said that they would give me a wonderful gift for my birthday. At that time, I dreamed of a CD player and a collection of all the songs of KiSha and BI-2. I was looking forward to this day more than ever, but mom and dad shattered my dreams. They gave me a gold ring with flowers. I hated this ring, I didn’t wear it, and my family was offended why I wasn’t hysterical with happiness and didn’t wear this squalor.
And we also had neighbors - a fashionable young family. I sometimes sat with their little daughter. And Natasha, noticing my suffering, gave me a Sony CD player and 2 BI-2 discs. Even now I remember that feeling of happiness and gratitude to them when I unwrapped the gift box. I will never forget such a gift and understanding of my teenage desires. Thank you very much.
